Story
Bright white and cream-colored, Albert is a stunning long-haired male cat estimated to be around 3.5 years old. Albert's previous life was spent outdoors, but he adapted well to indoor living when he was taken into a person's home. He lived there for a while alongside several other cats, proving that he's a social feline who gets along with everyone! Although Albert may appear shy at first, he's incredibly accepting of pets and human attention. With patience and understanding, he'll blossom into a loving and trusting companion. All he needs is the right person to help him come out of his shell! Albert is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FELV and FIV. If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website: www.nokillarc.org to fill out a pre-approval form (found under the adoptable cats section).

Story
Colleen is a beautiful long haired, petite girl that came to us as a stray. Colleen had found her way into a kind woman's garage and that woman cared for Colleen until she was able to bring her to our shelter. Colleen arrived to arc just in time! When she arrived staff quickly realized there was a problem. Colleen's belly was large. Colleen was rushed to the vet for immediate spay where it was found that she was suffering from a condition called pyometra. Pyometra is an infection of the uterus that if left untreated is deadly. Colleen had life saving spay surgery and is on the road to recovery. Colleen has been through a lot in a short time so she can be a bit shy and scared. But once she warms up to you she's a total sweetheart that loves to be pet and given attention. Colleen is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots and tested negative for felv and fiv. To adopt, please go to our website nokillarc.org and fill out our adoption preapproval form located at the bottom of the "adoptable cats" tab. Once we receive your form we will email you to proceed with the adoption process.

Story
How is it that Bathsheba has been with us for ALMOST a whole year?!?!?! (We are honestly really surprised at this one because she is so sweet and beautiful!) Bathsheba is an absolutely stunning cat! Her pictures really don't do her any justice and we'll have to try and get better ones I guess... We've nicknamed her "the beautiful woman" because she is such a pretty lady! Bathsheba is now about 1 year old and, although she is a bit shy and a little skittish, she will very quickly turn on her purr for you if you give her some scratches under the chin. She is a really nice cat and just needs the right person to give her a chance! Bathsheba loves to be brushed and will allow herself to be held when she has gotten comfortable with you. She will also roll over onto her side or back pretty quickly which shows that she is actually quite friendly! She is a tad socially awkward but is very well loved by other cats and kittens! Bathsheba is a stunner with a silky-soft coat that is guaranteed to attract plenty of attention but she really needs someone who is willing to give her patience, love, and time to come out of her shell in a new, forever home! (YES, SHE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE SHY UPON MEETING HER but we know that, with the right person, she will make a very sweet and BEAUTIFUL pet!) Bathsheba needs to go to a calm home so we are not recommending a home with young children. Bathsheba will have been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form! ***Bathsheba has made a very close friend while in our care, Tiger Lily, another female cat that is close in age to her! It would be perfect for them to find a home together as they are a bit of a bonded pair. If you are looking for 2 cats that get along great, please consider Bathsheba and Tiger Lily! We are willing to waive their adoption fees if it helps them find a home together.***

Story
Shadow is a very unique and beautiful long haired cat! Her coat is black with a gray undercoat that is very pretty! The vet estimated her to be about 8 months old in March of 2024. She is a small cat and is not quite fully grown yet! (She will probably be fully grown by summer of 2024!) Shadow came to us after mysteriously appearing out of nowhere... she was rescued after being found outdoors where she was living under a shed. Shadow had to be trapped at first in order to be taken for TNR since she wasn't confident enough to approach or be approached by people. Once she was trapped, it was abundantly clear that she was definitely not feral (wild), just scared, because she meowed at us through the trap and really didn't seem that frightened by people! Due to her "friendly" behavior, we held onto her after she was fixed and gave her some time and patience to decompress and see if she would be adoptable. She MOST DEFINITELY IS adoptable although she is definitely still skittish and shy at this point! (She has been through a lot, after all!) Although we don't know anything more about Shadow's background, we do know that she has been around people before because she allows herself to be picked up, petted, and held with no problem! Although she is still in need of additional socialization, she is very sweet, has never shown any aggression of any kind, and has a lot of potential as an indoor house pet for the right person! Shadow needs a CALM home with someone who is willing to invest time and patience into continuing to socialize her. An adopter who has experience with skittish cats would be ideal but not necessarily required. We are not recommending a home with young children due to a calm home being in Shadow's best interest. Shadow is great with other cats and kittens so a home that has another feline companion, preferably a confident or outgoing one, would be ideal for her and may help her feel at home! Shadow has not yet been dog tested but we absolutely can do that if it makes a difference for you! (Just ask!) We want Shadow to go to a home that is willing to keep her regardless of how outgoing she may ever become. (Not EVERY cat is super outgoing and that's ok! They are entitled to have their own personalities!) Shadow has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped! She was eartipped at her time of spay because she was a part of a TNR program but it certainly doesn't make her any less beautiful! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!

Story
My Munequita is a lovely little long-haired tuxedo kitten! She is a sweet little girl that reminds us of a "little doll" and she was rescued from under a trailer in Tioga County, PA! She has very quickly become friendly and welcoming towards her current caretakers! Munequita doesn't mind being held and she will quickly turn on her purr while cuddling up! Munequita is active and playful. She is great with other cats and kittens and she would make a great little companion for another kitten or cat! Like most kittens, she enjoys playing and cuddling with her siblings! Munequita needs to go to a home with another cat or kitten companion to keep her company! When she went to be spayed, she became a bit distressed when she was separated from her siblings so it would be ideal for her to be adopted out with one of her siblings, although we are not requiring it. (My Munequita is a vocal young lady and is not a fan of long car rides in a carrier--she can become very dramatic during these instances! She can be adopted out to any area but just a heads up if you are coming from a long distance to adopt!) Perhaps you would like to adopt 2 kittens?! (Ask about our 2 for the price of 1 deal!) My Munequita has been introduced to a large, cat-friendly dog while in our care and she did quite well, although she puffed up a bit! (It was actually super cute!) My Munequita has been spayed, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped! She is ready for adoption NOW!!! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!
