Story
Hello, my name is Madison. I am an adorable, affectionate, teeny, tiny, long-haired domestic. I'm almost 9 years old, and I only weigh 5lbs. When I'm not curled up in a ball somewhere warm like your bed, lap, or a sunbeam, I can be found in your arms, snuggling and staring into your soul with my huge eyes. My people think I'm not so bright, but I make up for it with affection and attention. You see, I'm a survivor. When I was just a year old, my people found me outside with a severe head injury, almost dead. But they got me to a doc, patched me up, and nursed me back to health and below-average intelligence 😳. I have been well-loved all my life and am best living inside. I would love a catio because harnesses and leashes are not my friends. When I do sneak out, I'll find a quiet little spot to hide until you've missed me, and then I'll be back. The lovely vet lady says I have Asthma, but maybe I'm just allergic to my big foster brother Conrad (a dog) because I don't seem to have

She was on a special diet, but seems to be doing okay on purina one adult now. As stated above, she is shy, but a very sweet girl.Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: I am a beautiful, approximately one year old spayed cat. I like playing with toys, sitting in the window and sun tanning, and eating. I am shy with other cats and tend to hide from them. I have been with my foster for 2 months and have not adapted to the cats here, so it would be best if I was an only cat. I tolerate my fosters dog, but don't like some of the other dogs that come over, so a quieter friendly dog would probably be okay. I really am a sweet girl, I just prefer quieter spaces and would love to be considered if you meet this description :).

He loves attention and will follow you around. He enjoys the attention from young kids and adults alike. He badly wants to be best friends with the resident kitties (who currently just tolerate him)Due to being matted when he was found, he currently has a bit of a crude shave job! But its growing in nicely.Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Quimbly was originally found skinny, matted and suffering from some GI issues. After being on a course of medication, probiotics and GI food, he seems to be over whatever issues he has. That being said, it would be recommended to continue him on whatever food he is currently receiving and if an adopter would like to switch his food, to do it carefully over the course of a couple weeks and monitor.

Story
Neelix is a girl with a tortitude! In her defence, she likely has not had a lot of exposure to humans and it's been a lot of new experiences for this gorgeous lady in the last few weeks. Like many timid and feral cats, Neelix requires a slow and patient socialization process that her foster mom has been carefully working on. Upon arriving at her foster home, Neelix had full access to the room she was in, but her foster mom quickly realized this was too much too soon for a spicy girl. Neelix is now in a smaller enclosure while her foster mom works on exposing her to humans and helping her learn that humans are not scary and they bring food and treats. Neelix has already made leaps of progress in her foster home. From hiding in a corner to swatting, spitting, and growling with every movement, she is now consistently taking treats from her foster human's hands, she doesn't grumble nearly as often and she's even had a few really good experiences with being petted. It will take a little longer before Neelix is ready for the big move back into a full room. Timids do not do well in large spaces. They often feel safest in an enclosure until they have let their guard down and learned to trust humans. It appears Neelix is quite fond of the resident cats in her home. She seems to enjoy their company and has never hissed or growled at them when they approach her cage. Neelix is also missing a back foot; a mystery we will never know the answer to. She may have been born this way, or it may be one of the harsh realities of her life outdoors. Either way, she gets around just fine on three paws.To follow Neelix's journey to becoming a fully-fledged brave girl, follow her foster mom's Instagram page at tuffy_pudge_and_pals
