Magnus is currently residing with our charity-partner friends, Petsmart of Hilton Head Island (430 William Hilton Pkwy), so you can visit him during their retail hours. This stunningly gorgeous guy with the most epic floofy tail came to AAC when his owner was hospitalized and was no longer able to care for him. He has been a solo, indoor cat his whole life, so we are looking for a home where he will be the only cat. But if you are in the market for your “one and only,” you could not find a better cat than Magnus. He LOVES people and would make a great at-home emotional support buddy. He is a great listener and always curious what you are up to. He mostly loves sitting on your lap. Magnus is some kind of fancy-shmancy breed mixture and pictures don’t do him justice. He is SO handsome and loves being pet, brushed, lap sitting; and he will be your BFF during your next Netflix binge. We think Magnus will do well in most loving indoor homes; and most especially in one where his people are home a lot, e.g., work from home, retired folks, empty nesters, etc. He is not picky about food, has excellent house manners and uses his litter box faithfully. What a love bug! Nugget is a special and unique boy, with a back story that will charm you and warm your heart! Nugget has spent many years as one of our outdoor community cats, stealing our hearts and chasing after lizards and bugs. He is a sweet and loving one eyed, long haired black and white tuxedo who has recently become an insider. We have discovered that he is sweet, gentle, tolerant and laid back. He is a lover, not a fighter and would love nothing more than to be pampered, showered with love and fed a steady and healthy diet of yummy food and treats. Come in to meet him, fall in love, and take him to a home where he can enjoy snuggly snoozing spots and a sunny window, protected from the elements once and for all!

As her name might allude, StrayOnce is a bit of a diva. She prefers for everything to be done on her terms and her time. If you are worthy enough, she will allow you to enjoy her presence and stroke her beautiful fur.While she is tolerant of other cats, she prefers to pretend they do not exist.

Chief is a sweet 6 year old domestic longhair cat. He loves head pets, kisses, and lives for weekends cuddling in a warm lap on the couch for hours on end. He loves a good ole staring contest and loves to have meowing conversations if you call him by his name, Chief. He will also greet you at the door with a quick brush by your legs and a social roll to show his excitement to see you. He is a very large adult cat on the heavier side so expect a little more laziness than your typical adoptee. He can get anxious and defensive around intimidating strangers, but does warm up with a little patience. He is extremely furry and soft, so a kitty brush is pretty much a necessity with this guy. He gets along with other cats, and has had a few other kitty roommates in the past. With that being said, Chief can be a bit of an attention seeker, and does like to have the spotlight.
