Story
Introducing Dr. Watson, a long-haired black and white cat with a quiet demeanor and a heart full of untapped potential. Much like Sherlock Holmes’ trusted companion, this Watson is a steadfast soul, albeit one who prefers to observe from the shadows rather than dive into the action. He is very shy and values his independence, seeking a home that understands his need for space and patience as he learns to navigate new surroundings and relationships. Dr. Watson may not demand the spotlight, but with time, kindness, and understanding, his true character will shine through. Beneath his reserved exterior lies a gentle and thoughtful friend, ready to offer his quiet companionship to those who earn his trust. A home that respects his boundaries and allows him to grow at his own pace will find in Dr. Watson a companion as loyal and steady as his namesake—a partner for life’s quiet moments and its greatest mysteries alike. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
