Story
This is my princess kitty Bella. She was found abandoned as a kitten at a construction site. While living in town about 5 years ago she lived to explore and would go to a local field. An elderly lady thought she had no home and took her in. It ended being the gramma of a friend of mine who had early signs of dementia. She loved the cat so much and was such a blessing for her she lived with her for about 3 years. I recently got her back because she could no longer care for her. I already have 3 other cats and am moving to a place which only allows a few animals. Bella loves being an inside/outside cat but has been just indoors too. She is my princess kitty and has lived just her but also been around my cats and lived with a dog shortly too. She would do best as an only cat but can live with other cats too. She loves treats playing with cat wand toys and a clean litter box.

Story
Meet Stella – The Confident & Curious Beauty! Stella is a gorgeous long-haired black cat with an independent spirit and a signature trait—her ever-wagging tail. Like a cuckoo clock, it moves with perfect rhythm, swaying as she explores, twitches when she’s curious, and flicks when she’s feeling playful. It’s almost like her own little way of communicating! Though she enjoys her space, Stella won’t say no to a good chin scratch. She currently lives with other cats and could join a feline-friendly home, but she’s just as content being the queen of her own castle. Whether in a house or an apartment, she carries herself with confidence and a touch of mystery. If you’re looking for a cat with elegance, independence, and a tail that tells a story, Stella is ready to make your home her own! One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick-up location to you! The adoption fee is $400.00 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2 but could be more depending on age and time in the program), FeLV vaccines, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This kitty you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 14,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.facebook.com/ThreeLittlePittiesRescueSavingKitties/ https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue/ *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $48 surcharge for transport. Story
Sophie is a gorgeous 7 year old Maine Coon mix just waiting to fill your home with cat magic. She is just the right combination of sweet and majestic, a regal lady who loves lounging on windowsills and curling up in front of the heater. Her long locks are amazing and her ideal owner would love to brush her just as much as she loves being brushed. Sophie is diabetic and gets insulin twice a day. She doesn't mind the extra attention, but her new family will need to be comfortable with giving shots and committed to her diabetic care. Her medication costs are Lantus insulin $65/mo, syringes $20/mo. Total: about $85/mo (prices may vary depending on source.) She prefers to be the queen of your world but will warm up to other mature cats. Sophie is vehemently against the idea of dogs and will hide in their presence. Ideally, she would prefer a quieter home without young children or dogs. If you're looking for a smart and loving yet independent supermodel of a cat, Sophie's your girl. All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Adult cats have an adoption fee of $150. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.  ##2190871##

Story
Meet Harley! At just over 8 pounds, Harley may be small but this little man packs a lot of personality into a small frame!  He is long-haired, black and white, and has the cutest white arrow pattern on his head that always points in the direction he’s headed. He is mostly deaf and will meow at you excitedly once he notices your presence - you’ll hear that his crunchy purr resembles the sound of a Harley Davidson! Harley has a very laidback demeanor and is affectionate towards everyone! He is almost 15 years old and quite spry for a senior, though he may need some steps to help him jump up on tall furniture. This little guy has lived with other cats before but he really thrives when he can have one on one attention - Mr. Harley would love to be the center of your world! Harley loves a good catnip toy and snuggling up next to you on the couch or in bed. This affectionate boy loves chin scratches, (gentle) brushing, and will follow you around like your shadow once he has a chance to explore his environment! To maintain his beautiful, healthy coat, he requires daily brushing and may need occasional professional grooming if he develops any large mats. He does have a heart murmur (which requires echocardiograms 1-2 times annually) so he would do best in a lower-energy environment where he can focus on loving his humans and wandering around his domain. He is not on any medication at this time.  All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with age-appropriate vaccinations. Senior cats have an adoption fee of $100. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.  ##2248093##

Story
Hi, I`m Guppy! I was found as a stray in Mount Vernon, but I`m getting used to indoor life! I`m an older guy, with more refined tastes and a sense of self awareness. I tend to get overstimulated from too much petting and picking up, but I would love to be your reliable conversationalist! I can`t wait for you to say hello!

Story
My name is Lucy and I was returned to the shelter through no fault of my own. I am an independent lady and as such, am very picky about the people I spend time with. I will do best if left to my own devices and would adore a quiet space in your home or heated shop or barn. I am too refined to be very much into the sport of `mousing,` but I would still love to have a home to call my own.
