Meet Rascal! Rascal came to ECCHA as a surrender and is ready to find loving home to call her own. Rascal is shy when meeting new people or moving into new places but once he warms up to you or his surroundings he will roll over on his back showing off his belly. You can find Rascal playing with a few toys and then lounging around taking a nap. Please make sure to not wake him from his beauty rest, otherwise you will have one grumpy kitty cat! We are not sure how Rascal is with his other canine friends so please practice a slow introduction once at home. Rascal was returned to ECCHA for not getting along with the resident cat but loves his time at Mr. Kitty's Cat Café. He is looking for a feline friend that can match his energy level, but also know when it is time to rest and not bother him! Well howdy, partner! Say hello to our friend Cowboy! Cowboy is a sweet and curious buckaroo who loves to explore! He is a little nervous so he will do best in a home with a lot of patience and another kitty cowpoke to learn from and play with! If you don't have another cat at home consider looking at some of our playroom kitties to bring home with Cowboy! We are not sure how he would do with dogs but always practice a slow introduction. Cowboy is young and will surely have bursts of crazy kitten energy, so be sure to have plenty of fun toys and scratching posts for him to enjoy as he grows. Meet Willow! Willow is a 4 year old, spayed female, with a microchip! Willow came to CHA through no fault of her own as one of her family members was allergic to her. Willow does not like other cats and we are unsure how she feels about dogs but it is safe to assume she would do best being the only pet in the home. Willow would also not do well with children unless they are old enough to understand her boundaries. Drew Barrymore is a 6 year old spayed female. She is current on her vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Drew Barrymore! Drew Barrymore is a gorgeous and laid back lady who can't wait to be pampered by her forever family. She may be a bit shy and more reserved at first but don't let that fool you as all it takes is a few gentle pets and snuggles to get her to open up to you. She absolutely adores head and chin scratches - and if you dare stop petting her before she is done she will reach her paw out to you or nudge her head against you to ask for more. When she's not busy soaking up your attention, she enjoys spending her days catnapping in a warm bed, relaxing next to a sunny window, or lounging up high on a cat tree or cat shelf to get a birds eye view of everything going on around her. Drew Barrymore is a mellow and low-key kitty who is looking for a bit of a calmer and quieter home where she can relax as she does startle easily at times from fast movements and loud noises. So, she would prefer a family with slightly older children at least 8 years of age or older who won't chase or scare her. She currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with several other kitties who she doesn't seem to mind so she should do great in a home with another feline friend. We also feel she should do ok with calmer dogs in the house too given slow and proper introductions to one another.
