Story
My name is Sarabi and I arrived to the DRHS after being found as a stray. Adopting a cat, like me, from the Dubuque Regional Humane Society, means more than just a new friend - it includes a spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchipping, a new cozy cat bed and more! Each cat is ready to bring love and companionship into your life.

Story
Meet Journey!Journey is a very handsome, 4 - 6 month old cat that came to our shelter as a stray. He is a very sweet guy, but can be a little shy at times till he warms up to a new environment. When he first came into our care it was immediately noticed that there was an issue with one of his front legs. We got Journey to the vet where it was determined that at some point Journey had injured his leg, and the injury caused severe nerve damage making it almost immobile. He is still able to move his shoulder but the paw/"wrist" has no feeling. Despite this Journey gets around really well, and nothing seems to slow him down! Climbing, and jumping can be a little more difficult for him but he is still your typical kitten that loves to run and play. Journey has spent time in a foster home with other cats and dogs, and did well around both!Journey was recently neutered, and during his neutered appointment our veterinarians reassessed his leg, and felt that Journey's leg was slowing down, and hindering his movement. We went forward with the leg amputation and Journey is now a tripod cat!Journey's adoption fee is $125 and he is neutered, up to date on vaccination, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. Story
Meet Lila!Lila is a young adult cat that came to our shelter as a stray, and she is a very adorable long haired, scruff, orange tiger. We are estimating her to be 1- 2 years old, but she is very petite for an adult cat. Not only is Lila very adorable she has a sweet personality, and loves to be around all the volunteers and staff here at the shelter. We haven't found any toys that bring out a super playful personality yet, so we do feel that she would love a home where she can spend her days just lounging around. Lila does seem to want to be the only cat in her new family's life but she has tons of love to give that you won't need multiple cats! Lila is still new to our shelter so we are still learning about her likes and dislikes as we spend more time with her. If you have questions about Lila please reach out!Lila's adoption fee is $100, and she is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. Story
Meet Alana and Danielle! These two adorable kittens came into our care after a family raised them up from teeny tiny babies, and graduated from a bottle. They are super adorable and like most kittens enjoy playing, and exploring! Alana is the larger of the two sisters, and is a beautiful grey and white. Danielle is very petite, slightly fuzzy, and black and white. Danielle is a bit more outgoing, and enjoys being with people while Alana is reserved, and will need a patient family to help bring her out of her shell. We would love to see them find a home together as two kittens is always better than one! We are estimating them to be 12 - 14 weeks.Kitten adoption fees are $125, or $187 is adopting two! This adoption fee covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and spay costs are covered by the shelter at 4 - 6 months of age.If you are interested in adopting Alana, and/or Danielle please fill out an application online by going to this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfPov6JGu-kbLwlMN0d3kIDewVrJ23H2D41HH0Ud0-bJEs-dg/viewform
