08/16/24 This sweet, outgoing little girl is Lydia! Lydia arrived at the shelter as a stray, so we do not know much about her history. She did come in with several other kitties that she seemed to get along with. At intake, it was suspected that Lydia was pregnant, so she was sent to a foster for some time to have her babies. As the weeks progresses, Lydia's belly actually receded, so she had an ultrasound done, and we discovered she had had a false pregnancy! Lydia has been an absolute love with the care staff and her foster, but she may be shy at first in a new environment. In the foster home, she was introduced to small dogs and didn't seem to mind them, but she was not impressed when they tried to play with her. She has lived with other cats in the past, but please use caution when introducing her to new feline friends. Fear Free Pets has some great resources on properly introducing multiple cats.
