Story
I`m a sweet girl who is a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly. Once I`m comfortable with someone I`m affectionate, talkative and playful. Since loud noises and fast movements scare me I would do best in an adult home or one with older children. Unfortunately me and the other cat in the home were fighting over our owners affection. I have been with other cats though so the staff reccommends a slow introduction.

Story
Hello, we are 3 year old brothers looking for a special, loving new person willing to adopt us together. We have a special bond and are dependent on one another for assistance. Our names are Oso and honeybun (bunny for short). We are happy, loving, cuddly, easy to take care of kitties! Honeybun was born with a slight neurological disorder that makes him very shaky and unsteady on his feet when he first wakes up. Oso helps him get up and stay steady while his shakes go away. Oso also helps honeybun clean himself in places that he's unable to reach. In gratitude, honeybun makes sure that Oso's face, neck, and upper body stays extra clean. We love & depend on each other so much. We are indoor kitties and we live with 2 dogs, who we love and respect very much. It took us a while to get used to the dogs & it took the dogs a while to get used to us. The 4 of us eventually developed mutual respect for one another. We have never lived with children. But, we have spent a lot of time with our mom's grandsons. We love to play toys with them until we get tired of playing and then we hide out under the bed! About our Mama - She received a terminal health diagnosis about a year ago. She has always promised herself that when she is getting worse and spending more time in the hospital than she is spending at home loving on us and when she gets to the point where she's feeling unable to care for us in the manner that we deserve, it would be time to find us a loving new home. Sadly, she has reached that point and nothing would make her happier than to know that we go together to a new home. Our mom loves us so much and is really sad to see us go! She knows it's time, though, and wants to do what's best for us kitties. Please consider adopting us and being our new kitty parent. We're neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped.

Story
Hello darling, I'm Miss Bluebell. I'm a 5-year-old gal with a beautiful grey coat. And while I may have the looks, I love to play with wands of all types (especially with feathers) and laser pointers over primping all day long. My favorite treats are seafood flavored. I also prefer to be spoken to softly, and I'll respond with a soft meow and some bunting in return. I think we could have a nice relationship together. Would you come to play with me and find out? No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the dog. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
This sweet little Tortie came across a young couple who Trap, Neuter, and Release (TNR) stray and feral cats in the community. The couple got her used to eating in their front yard so they could easily trap her to get her fixed and released. To their surprise, this sweet girl was a mama! Within a few days, she brought her two young kittens to feed in the front yard. The couple was able to trap the mama and two kittens to get them fixed, and what they thought, released upon recovery from surgery. As this sweet girl was recovering, it became evident she had been socialized with humans and someone probably dumped her in the neighborhood. Tortellini came to trust her caretakers and allow them to pick her up, brush her, and even started enjoying the attention. Because she is so sweet, the couple decided to work with a rescue to get her adopted. So, this sweet kitty has been transitioned as a foster kitty at a local rescue and is looking for a second chance at a better life!
