You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.May 2023 addendum:  Tootie's adopter who had him for over a year died in March of 2023.  We were asked by his family to find a new home for him  He is back at the TAL foster care and adoption center and is well adjusted.  We feel that he is ready for a new owner.  He is a loving cat who craves hands on attention.  Still is reserved in new situations but given a little time in a new home, he ill be a wonderful companion and pet.     I was rescued from downtown Texarkana when very young, and cared for in the home of a foster, but I am very, very shy.  I'm neutered, microchipped, and have had all my 1st year vaccines.  Tootie is a very sweet kitten, and will do well in a quiet environment with lots of love & attention.  He and his sister, Koko, are very attached to each other.  She is very sensitive.  Do not recommend children or dogs.   All of our adoptable animals are up to date on routine vaccinations, microchipped and spayed or neutered.  If the animal is too young a certificate for the spay/neuter is included in the adoption fee.  Please CLICK HERE to complete our online adoption application. We received her after she was spayed and vetted, and her babies went to one of our fosters. She is now looking for her furever home. Ms. Kitty is a beautiful Tortie with gorgeous markings. She is very shy but also very sweet with no aggression issues. She just needs a calm loving person to take her in and show her that people can be loving and kind.
