Meet Cloud!This handsome man came to us after unfortunately living outdoors on his own for quite some time and wasn't in very good shape. His fur was severely matted and he had a burst abscess on his shoulder that required medical attention. We took him to the vet to get him cleaned up and checked out, then a few days later he was neutered and received a lion's cut to relieve the painful mats. Cloud is feeling much better now and is ready to find his furever home! He can be quite shy with new people but he does warm up. Hands are a bit scary to Cloud and since he wasn't receiving regular attention he is unsure of how to handle affection and can get quite overstimulated. He will need a cat-savvy owner who has experience with under-socialized cats and knows the signs of overstimulation as well as frustration. Other than that, he is a very sweet boy and will roll around happily while purring away. He did previously live with other cats but didn't get along with them, most likely due to him being an intact male. Cloud does have a very luxurious coat when it isn't shaved and will require regular brushing, which we are slowly introducing to him so he can get comfortable with it. If you're fishing for a new kitty in your life, meet Minnow!We don't have a lot of history on this girl but we have learned a bit about her since she has been in our care. She is quite laidback and calm, although we haven't seen much of her playful side yet! Minnow did previously live with other cats and seems very interested in the kitty that she is sharing a room with, so we believe that she would do well with a feline friend. As always, slow and proper introductions are recommended to ensure a smooth transition. Minnow has soft, luscious fur and will need regular brushing to keep her coat in tip-top shape. She is a very sweet kitty who enjoys affection and is very curious about her surroundings.
