Story
Meet Tuffy, a sweet and beautiful brown tabby with the fluffiest fur! Some would go as far as calling her Tuff the Fluff! She comes across like she might be a shy girl at first, but the reality is she is a love muffin who wants constant attention from the people she loves! Tuffy would really prefer to find a home with people who spend quite a bit of time at home. She is full of purrs and would make a great couch companion. Tuffy needs a family that can show her some patience as she settles into a new place. She prefers a couple, clean litter boxes and some calming pheromones to help her really feel safe in new places, she is a sensitive girly! Covered litter boxes with gravel litter is imperative to ensure this girl is peeing appropriately. If you're ready to offer her a cozy space to grow, Tuffy will reward you with endless love and cuddles. She may start off a little quiet, but with a little time and care, she'll be the sweetest companion you could ask for! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 3.3 Age: 8yrs 7mths 1wks

Story
Meet Pekoe! Pekoe is one hot cuppa tea! She's a big personality and we can't wait to see who falls in love with this diva. She came to us when her previous guardian had to go overseas, and she's now thriving in a foster home. Would you like to meet Pekoe or learn more about her, call us at 604-922-4622! Pekoe likes touch and cuddles on her own terms, and for this reason she's looking for an adult only forever home. Her foster-mom brushes her and she loves to purrrr and knead, but will walk away when she's had enough. Good thing she enjoys being brushed, because she has a long luxurious coat that any adopter will need to help her maintain. Pekoe isn't going to be the kind of cat who wants to be pet and held all day - instead she will come to you for affection when she desires and will otherwise love to be near you while she watches out the windows and chats with the birds. She also sleeps under the covers with her current foster parents! Bird-watching is her FAVE activity. You can often spot her fluffy toes sticking out from her cozy bed, and she'll spring out to say hi when you enter the room. She loves baby talk and will melt with compliments about how beautiful and perfect she is. Although she's not a big fan of being picked up, Pekoe will happily follow you around, trailing behind like a sweet little companion and purring when she's in the mood for pets. She has even started climbing under the covers at night with her foster mom! Pekoe is looking for a loving home where she can continue to shine as the sweet, quirky cat she is. Could it be with you? Primary Color: Black Weight: 6.54 Age: 8yrs 6mths 2wks

Not good with dogs, Not good with cats,
Story
Jazz is very easy to love! If she wants treats, she will go to the treat bucket and head butt it, so you notice she is there. Then, she will come to you and put her paw on your arm to get your attention, without using her claws. Jazz is extremely well-behaved and gentle. She quickly grew accustomed to various household noises and sits calmly on the couch. While she may be shy to begin with, she has a wonderful personality. Jazz loves to be petted and touched. Due to her long fur coat, regular brushing will be required so it doesn't get matted. Luckily, Jazz likes to be brushed! She has a mild heart murmur and no treatment is needed. Jazz has special food and a supplement to optimize her health. Once you gain her trust, Jazz will still be a little timid but will always be very gentle. Being a shy girl, Jazz would do best in a calm home with no other pets and if there are children present, they should be older. She will be fine left alone while you are at work, as long as the work day is not too lengthy. Jazz needs an experienced adopter who will give her the time she needs to adjust to her new home and then her sweet personality will emerge!

Story
Buddy loves a good chin scratch. He also enjoys being brushed. Buddy had a huge life change, losing his owner of many, many years. It has taken him a bit of time to come to terms with this loss, but he's moving forward one day at a time. He sleeps on the bed most nights just within petting distance. Buddy is very treat orientated and takes his meds like a champ as long as they are mixed with yummy food. He is not above staring at you, willing you to reach into the coveted treat container. If that doesn't work, his gravelly meow is sure to follow. And who can resist that?
