Story
Please do not send inquiries. These cats can be visited at PetSmart in Carmel/Westfield (14720 US 31N) during store business hours. Applications are available at the store. Rosetta and Clark have a long history with me. I originally got them as kittens from different feral colonies. We put them together when they were about 4-5 months old and they bonded from that point. They spent years with me and were finally adopted by an older couple with an empty house. Unfortunately, the couple divorced, the wife left, the husband lost his job and had to sell the house. Per our contract, the cats came back to us at the husband's request. Clark and Rosetta are now 11+ year old seniors. They could probably use a teeth cleaning sooner rather than later. Rosetta came from a colony in Speedway. Her mother and a brother stayed at the colony (feral), two siblings were adopted. She does love human attention once she trusts you, but will always hiss at you. She just never learned that hissing is only a warning; she thinks it's just a common way to say hi. Clark came from a colony in Indianapolis. His mother was a Siamese, but he is a beautiful black male. He also had a Siamese brother. His brother and mother were adopted to their own forever homes, but Clark is black and shy and was constantly overlooked. We paired him with Rosetta and they became the best of friends. Bonded pairs are even more difficult to adopt. WE WILL ONLY ADOPT THEM AS A BONDED PAIR. We recommend no dogs and no small children. They would do best in a very calm forever home where they never have to move ever again. They do not adjust well to change. Rosetta & Clark are approximately 11+ years old, spayed/neutered, updated vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee = $80 total for the pair

Story
Kitty is a male, adult cat, 5 yrs old. He was a rescue from the street (possibly feral) when he was less than one year old. He's black on his back, tail, legs and head, but has white boots and white fur on his neck and belly. Kitty is between 18 and 21 pounds. Kitty has responded well to training and is house-trained (we don't have a litter box). He asks to go out when he needs to and is fairly reliable about no messes. Kitty has also been trained to stay off the kitchen counters, sofas, tables and beds, unless specifically invited to get up on a lap. He seeks out attention after his am feed and evenings. We've had occasional issues with biting. We've introduced more playtime with stuffed mice in the morning to redirect his play biting/scratching, which seems to be working. We would not recommend adoption to a home with smaller children. He sleeps on his own bed on the living room floor for good part of the day and night, but usually wants to go out early morning.

Story
A few years ago I adopted a Onyx from the Indianapolis Animal Care Services. Onyx was the most social cat there and instantly clicked with us. When we first got her she was about 3 years old, making her around 5 years old now. She has tolerated my three children and will let her pet them as long as they are being gentle and moving cautiously. She does not tolerate other cats. She would do best in a home with adults or older children, even a senior. She loves cuddles and is very vocal for a cat. She likes her treats and will beg you for them. She does not like wearing collars and has been a strictly indoor cat. Nor does she enjoy being brushed. She has all her claws. She likes to sit in windows, a cat tower would be good for her. Her favorite toy is a laser. Onyx needs to go to the vet; she has some skin issues and is losing fur. I have been unable to afford to take her to the vet, and am moving in with people who have cat allergies so I am unable to keep her.
