Story
Patrick is a shy and reserved adult male. He's a 10-year old solid black cat with medium length hair.  He was surrendered with his 5 siblings when his owner passed away. He's a little shy at first but warms up quickly with treats  and lots of petting. He would do well in a quiet home.  He loves to be petted and is not very active. He'd be a good companion cat sitting next to you on the couch within reach of plenty of petting.October 12, 2024, 12:21 am

Story
Meet Sugar Bear! Sugar Bear and her younger brother Dave recently arrived to our facility when their owner sadly passed away. Having grown up in a loving home, the shelter environment has obviously been a stressful change for them and are still working on getting settled in. Sugar Bear is the older, wiser, and more relaxed cat between the two. Most of the time she can be found high up in one of the cat towers just observing her surroundings and taking it all in. When she's not pondering the meaning of life, she's super affectionate and loves to sit on your lap. She also loves to have her long, luscious fur brushed! Sugar Bear can't currently clean herself since she has some painful ulcers in her mouth that she's receiving treatment for so Dave is a diligent caretaker and will provide cuddles and will even help groom her! It's the sweetest thing to see how much they love and care for each other. These two cats are some of the sweetest and most loving, gentle souls and are ready for their furever home where they can relax and be together. Could that be with you? Stop in today to meet Sugar Bear and Dave! If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
Khonshu (con-shoe) is a sweet 2 year old boy. He gets along well with other cats and kids. He handles being picked up and carried around very well, as my kids do this often. He loves to play with strings and lasers pointers. He also enjoys batting things around and jumping in boxes. He has no medical issues and is healthy. He always uses his litter box. Like most cats he is punctual about meal time and at times makes requests or celebrates his accomplished meal. He is polite when spoken to but not overly chatty. He has not ventured outdoors, as he has been an indoor cat for the time being. He does shed a good amount and enjoys being brushed. He is microchipped. I also have his file from when we adopted him to transfer. My husband’s allergies can no longer handle the amount of fur he sheds.
