Story
Corene is a blind senior cat who is looking for a calm, adult only home where she can peacefully live out her retirement years. She is a talker and will grumble sometimes when being handled, but does tolerate being picked up and held. She will need a slow transition into a home because she is not yet litter box trained and she'll need to learn the layout slowly. Corene does enjoy squeezy treats and can be lured short distances with them.

Story
Hello big daddy has been coming to our back door for several months we had seen him b4 butt until recently he just stated hanging around. We call him big daddy because we think he is the father of two of our other strays that we took In he is approximately 2 years old and is the sweetest most grateful cat I have ever .He had a tough couple of years outside we took him in about a month ago because it was well below freezing. Then realized his leg was hurt . After x rays we found out his left rear leg was separated at the knee we were told put him down or amputate. We found another vet Ended up removing the leg just above the knee. He is healed now from that and is neutered as well . He gets around great and loves to just lay around and be loved on. He is happy he made it in to finally be a house cat . Cost him a leg and two nuts and bolts but finally made it in please help us with him we are taking care of 5 other 4 in one out we simply cant afford more 816 209 8562

Story
We adopted Evie from an animal shelter as a kitten when we lived in TN. She is a 12yr old female, declawed in the front, spayed, and up to date on all shots. She is very healthy, strictly an inside cat and she is very sweet and lovable. She gives great hugs with loud purrs in the mornings and snuggles with us at bedtime. For her age she still acts like a kitten by chasing her tail and playing chase with our little Jack Russell, and she enjoys "helping" us work out. She prefers a quieter environment of no young children or other animals, although she has tolerated very well the 10 foster puppies we have had in our home over the years. And she is co-habitating quite well with our small dog. She does go into hiding when there are young children around. She enjoys snuggling up on your lap, especially if there is a blanket involved, and loves sleeping in the dog bed in front of the window. If there is a spot of sun hitting the floor, she will find it and enjoy a warm nap. She is a sweet member of our family that we will miss.

Story
This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period.  While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and she will tend to avoid interaction.  This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. She is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for her to have a home of his own where she could continue to thrive.
