Story

Bish is a great cat. She usually likes to be left alone but will cuddle with you any time you lay down. She gets along with the other cat I have but trying to introduce another cat did not work out. She leaves my baby (5months) alone. She loves my 12 year old. Enjoys having a window to sit in and sun bathe. She's not huge on toys but if you have a laser pointer, you'll keep her occupied for hours. She's never had an accident outside her litter box, she rarely throws up. We love her but due to relocating, we are trying to find a new home for her and her sister before surrendering her to a shelter.

Maple is a 4 year old domestic medium hair who has lived as an indoor cat since we adopted her as a kitten from a shelter. She initially is very shy with strangers, but is affectionate and loves the attention of her human companions once she becomes comfortable. While she can be competitive over food, she got along well with her adopted sister Juniper and often enjoyed snuggling. Recently, Juniper passed away unexpectedly, and a human brother joined the family. This has been hard on Maple, as we have been unable to provide the appropriate care she needs and do not have the space to add another cat. We are looking for someone with the space to satisfy her curiosity to explore and potentially another cat to provide companionship. Maple has not had issues with the baby, but has never been around a dog or other animal. Since she is timid, she may need a separate room to decompress for a couple days.

Heidi is a female Torti and she is 11 weeks old. As the front of the litter, it will be a little bit before she is able to be spayed and vaccinated. Heidi is one of a litter of three feral rescues that I have been socializing for the past 8 weeks. She can be very timid and shy and as the runt she has taken a bit more encouragement as she was half the size of her brothers. She is gaining more confidence every day but would be a great fit for a more quiet home and someone who can be patient and attentive with her. She is quite bonded with her ginger brother, Dandy Lion (also listed for adoption) who is quite protective of his baby sister. Little Miss Sunday was found on a ... Sunday, on the side of a busy two-lane highway at night. When her heroes first saw her, they weren't quite sure whether this baby was still alive. Despite having at least one leg that was clearly broken, Sunday took off into the brush, making her rescue extra challenging. Sunday was a little bit spicy at first, but she quickly chose life as an indoor snuggly kitty. She loves being petted, having her head rubbed, and getting attention. She'll give you purrs and head butts as a reward for your love. While one of her legs had to be amputated, she doesn't seem to notice. Sunday bounces around and plays like any four-legged kitty. But Sunday needs to be kept as still as possible for a while longer because she still has some healing to do--her pelvis was also broken in the accident. This sweet cat is semi-feral has been with ABF for an extended period. While some progress has been made, there is still wariness of human contact and she will tend to avoid interaction. This cat has never been exposed to outdoor elements or hunting, so would not be suitable as a barn cat. She is used to living in an air conditioned and heated building with other cats in a very clean room that has lots of windows and is excellent at using the litter box. We would love for her to have a home of his own where she could continue to thrive.
