Dharma likes to present herself as a cat’s cat – a great mouser, keen on any food she can beg or steal, bestowing affection only as she pleases – but really she’s a people cat. She follows me from room to room and will often even come when called. She wants to be where I am, though she pretends she’s there because she chose to be, not because she followed me. A pretty tortoisehell, she’s happy to sit on my lap and be brushed and petted. She's curious and active, loves to play (but only when she's in the mood, she's a cat after all). She's very vocal, meowing for attention and food. She's an indoor cat, though she'd love to sneak outside if she could, and would be happy to hunt mice in your barn if allowed. Breaks my heart to give her up and we hope to find someone who will love her just as much.

Hello there, I'm Daisy. Oo! Please go slow, I'm a little freaked out by my recent life changes. If you can manage to sit quietly and be patient, I might decide you're ok and come out for petting! How did someone as cute as me end up here at the shelter? Well, it's kind of a sad story. My human mom was my best friend, but she passed away. That left me with my human grandma, who was nice but was having trouble helping me mourn the death of my mama. Finally, another member of the family decided I might be better off looking for a new place to live. Another pretty sad part of my life is that I was declawed when I was younger, so please read up on what declawed cats need to help with that.
