Story
Pearl is roughly 9-10 and she's a queen. I adore her but unfortunately she urinates on anything cloth on the floor, and occasionally the couch with well maintained litterboxes. She came to us from a bad situation and I've spent 3 years working with her but even with meds my boyfriend's allergies are too much for urine outside the boxes in a 1b1b. She's shy and skittish and you have to take it slow, but she turns into the sweetest snuggle bug once she trusts you. She is terrified of other animals. I would happily give you a detailed notebook with EVERYTHING I know about her. If she goes to a shelter she will shut down forever, unfortunately even with the time and resources at the end of the day my boyfriend is still heavily affected and his health has to come first. The last thing I want to do is rehome her, I adore this cat she's spoiled rotten. She came with her name, Pearl. She was cream, matted to bits, and so underweight. She's come so far, white as a pearl, 13lbs, a queen

Story
Baby Freddie is looking for that special someoneTo start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html  Should our adoption coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss it with you.  Current on vaccinations, and have tested negative for both FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and FeLV (Feline Leukemia). Freddie and his brothers, Eddie and Randy, came from a neglected environment.  They were surrendered because their previous owner could not afford to feed them. When he first arrived in his foster home at three months old, the kittens were skin and bones, malnourished, drenched with fleas, and infested with intestinal parasites.  The boys are now healthy and happy, ready to journey to their forever home.  Due to the chaotic environment these boys withstand during the first three months of their lives, they are skittish in new environments and shy with strangers.  Once settled, they open up to be gentle, purring fur babies.  They need adopters who have experience with shy kittens and will be patient with them while adjusting to the new homes.  They are frightened by sudden movement and abrupt grabbling.  Freddie is very shy and slow to adjust to changes.  He will need a calm and quiet home and preferably have one of his brothers adopted together with him.  Once he feels safe, Freddie turns into a sweet, gentle little man who enjoys petting, having his silky medium hair brushed and gently chin scratching.  He loves to eat and play with his brothers.  He will hide from strangers but will hang out with his favorite humans.  Approx. birth date: 4/15/24 Foster:  CCLDecember 12, 2024, 4:36 pm

Story
Meet one of a kind Jewel! Jewel is a sweet girl with stunning looks to boot. She gets along with people, dogs, and cats and would be a great addition to any home! She’s very adaptable and we think she’d thrive either with other animals or as a single pet soaking up all the love. She’s curious, playful, and her evening zoomies will surely entertain! Her favorite thing in the world is a wand toy with feathers. She does tend to hide when there is a lot of hustle and bustle so older or no children would be ideal for this queen. She’s very social even with guests when they’re low key. Jewel is estimated to be about 3 years old. She’s FIV+ but is friendly with cats so she can easily and safely live with an FIV- cat (only transferred through deep muscle bites, this won’t happen during play). Jewel is also a diabetic in remission. Her levels are controlled with a low carb, non-prescription wet food diet, which is a healthy option for all cats. She needs to be schedule fed 3 times a day to maintain proper blood sugar levels, but they make automatic feeders for that! Yearly vet visits are required with any cat but are extra important for Jewel to keep her healthy. If you would like to me out sweet girl please fill out this form to get the process started! https://form.jotform.com/202214857624050
