Story
Missy was a feral cat that kept having litters of kittens in town. We were finally able to catch her, get her spayed, ear-tipped, and given a rabies shot. She would do best as a barn cat. She will need to go to a home with experience with barn cats. Barn cats will still need to be fed and given water daily, but they will help keep small rodents and snakes away from your home. This is a cat that you will not be able to hold and expect to be a normal house cat.

As a result, he is now super social and confident. He tends to be very human oriented, and while he plays well with other cats, what he finds most exciting and enjoyable is attention from humans. He is at his most content while riding around on your shoulders or being held in your arms. His purr is wonderful and he melts while being touched.He also makes insanely athletic leaps across the room with no hesitation for the sole purpose of being carried or held -- this fearless guy has a sure future as an adventure kitty or just a super playful and loving home companion. If you are searching for a devoted and fearless shoulder cat, Ferret fits that description to a T!   He and his littermate Hedgehog (still available) and Mouse (adopted) were all bottle babies starting at the age of 2 weeks old! As a result, he is now extroverted and confident. He tends to be very focused on humans, and while he enjoys the company of the other cats, what he finds most gratifying and intriguing is interaction with humans. He is never more content than when he is allowed to keep his spot on your shoulders as you move about the room, and his loud, proud purr as you let him stay there is evidence of that.  Ferret has such a passion for shoulder-riding that he has perfect the art of making head-spinningly athletic leaps across the cat room from great heights or all the way on the floor to velcro himself to who or whatever is closest to him. From there, he cannot be dissuaded from making his way up to the coveted shoulder position. If you're looking for a future adventure/travel kitty or even just a jovial and social housecat, Ferret is definitely the guy for you!
