Story
CLEO, DMH, CALICOBORN FEBRUARY 5, 2018I am Cleo and rightfully named after the famous and last Pharaoh of Egypt, Cleopatra! I am a queen and I am truly stunning! Kneel before me and serve me, is my attitude. I mean, Egyptians did worship cats and that is such the right attitude to take!I am petite and gorgeous but not for the faint of heart. No children please as I need to be the only one that you concentrate on during my reign of your home as I need a very experienced cat owner. I can be quite grateful and allow you to pet me and love me. I do get a bit over stimulated so I may let you know that I am finished with your adoration and that you may continue with your other chores. Yes I am regal but I can love and will love the right person. So if you think you are the one, come and ask for an audience with me. Don`t keep me waiting!Location: Foster Home

Story
Looking for a friendly, playful girl who loves everyone she meets? Lulu is an adorable, petite-sized cat with a royal flair that sets her apart. With her love for all things pink - especially her favourite spring toy and beaded chain - Lulu embodies elegance and grace. She is 1 ½ years old and enjoys playful sessions chasing a red laser light, showing her fun-loving side. Is it a delivery day? Lulu loves playing with and chewing on delivery boxes! Lulu's princess-like demeanour makes her a true delight. Once she warms up, her charm is irresistible. A true cuddle queen, Lulu loves being around her people. She’ll follow you everywhere or ensure she keeps you in her line of sight. At bedtime, you’ll find her nestled beside you, making her the perfect snuggle buddy. Lulu isn’t picky about her meals, adores chin scratches, and enjoys belly rubs (with playful nibbles included!). She’s okay being picked up for short periods and will always reward you with her affectionate nature. She is exceptionally friendly with humans and eager to make new cat friends, though she may need a little extra time to adjust to dogs. She would love another friendly cat buddy in her new home! Lulu was born in foster care. At three weeks of age, she developed aspiration pneumonia that left a scar on her lungs, making her prone to occasional coughing. Her daily asthma medication (human asthma inhaler, readily available at all pharmacies) keeps it under control, however rarely, she may be prone to cold-like symptoms that might require antibiotics. But Lulu is a champ with her daily inhaler routine and medications. She calmly takes her pump twice a day and might even sneak in a little nap during the process. As far as we know, this will be a lifelong condition for Lulu. Lulu is looking for a loving forever home where she can be the baby of the family. She’ll win hearts with her affectionate personality, making you her favourite human and your lap her cozy throne. If you’re seeking a cuddly, playful, and loving companion, Lulu is the perfect princess to complete your family!

Story
Looking for a young, friendly pair of tabbies to brighten up your home? Only six months old, Forest & Meadow are a wonderful pair who will do just that! Forest is the braver of the two and is an adorable little girl. She has the softest fur you’ll ever feel – look at her tail! Meadow is super sweet with equally soft and silky fur but is definitely the shyer of the two girls. She takes her cues from Forest, who is more outgoing. Both girls love to play with any toys around, especially wand toys! They love to climb high in the cat tree to watch their surroundings below or snuggle up together for a nap. They are very curious and enjoy observing anyone and everything around them. These girls LOVE their Churu treats and will happily chirp for them as soon as they see them. Forest loves her sister dearly, but is not above stealing her Churus! Forest loves to chat with everyone and will reply to your questions with the cutest little chirps. Forest & Meadow are good with other cats and while they did live with a dog in their foster home, it will be best if they are the only pets in your home. As Meadow is still shy, we recommend older children only. Forest & Meadow are bonded and MUST be adopted together Forest & Meadow came to us as young kittens from a colony. They are growing by leaps and bounds every day in their socialization journey and are ready to find their forever home at last! Meadow & Forest will make a great addition to the perfect home, which will allow them all the time and patience they need to gain confidence and show you how sweet they are! Keep lots of Churus on hand, and you will win them over in no time!

Story
Is an independent, confident and easy-going black cat what you’re looking for? Keele is your guy! At eight years old, Keele has patience, maturity and wisdom! He has quiet self-confidence and likes to find his way around his world independently without causing too much fuss. Keele loves to spend time in boxes and in a cat tree, observing the world inside and outside. At night, he likes to lie close to his foster by sleeping at the end of the bed. He is learning to trust that pets and grooming are the ways that pampered cats live. At meal times, he will approach his foster by rubbing on their legs for attention and allowing pets. Keele is starting to explore toys such as pipe cleaners, springs and crinkly wands but is anxious to learn more about toys! When Keele first arrived in his foster home, he took some time to evaluate his new surroundings but when ready, he came out of his room to ask for pets and food. Keele is easy-going and has great litterbox manners. As an independent boy, he is fine on his own, away from the hustle and bustle of a busy home of other fosters and animals. He can be trusted in the home while his foster goes out to work. Keele is learning that touch is a communication of love and that he does not have to shy away from someone loving him. Keele shares his foster home with another young cat and dog and likes his space to be respected. He would do well in an adult home or home with older children who can give Keele time to learn how to feel safe and confident in a loving home. Keele was found as a stray, but it quickly became clear that he was too friendly to be living outside. He is looking for someone with whom he can build a future, allowing him to lower his guard and embrace the playful young cat he truly is. Keele is looking for a loyal companion who will love him for who he is, as he continues his journey in this new world. Will you explore the world of cat toys, games and food with Keele?
