Pepper is 8 years old and sprayed, front declawed and had her shots as a baby. She has no medical issues and is very sweet. She unfortunately hides in our home and has for the last few years because her male brother, who is much larger, fights with her and beats her up to the point he rips her hair out. We have to keep her separated and believe she would be much happier in another home where she can roam free and be the loving cat she wants to be.

Meet Bigsby, also known as Ms. Bigg, a pretty grey and cream tabby who is about eight or nine years old.    Bigsby is a dog in a cat's body, according to her foster's friends. She earned this reputation by coming out of the woodwork and demanding attention from them whenever they visit. Without fail, as soon as a visitor sits in her favorite chair, she assumes this is an invitation to get attention and sprawls on their chest and shoulder and purrs. When her foster worked from home, she was the Official Office Cat and was often the unintentional star of a few Zoom/Teams meetings; her foster has since RTO'd, which makes Bigsby sad. She is very affectionate and wants to be with her people.   Currently, she's living in a house with a few other cats and a couple of big dogs (coonhounds); she doesn't create issues with any of them, though she's not exactly snuggly with them, either. She would likely do just fine as a solo cat or in a household with other pets. Beyond human attention and the standard food, water and a clean litter box, she needs just one thing every day: allergy medication. She's not exactly 'special needs' or high maintenance; her allergy meds keep her healthy and happy.  She is missing most of her teeth, but that doesn't hold her back in any way; the only concession being made for that is wet pate food once a day with dry kibble available on a free-feed basis.    Bigsby is a fantastic, engaging older cat who deserves her own human to love her.  She is totally vetted and ready for her forever home.  If you think  will be the purrfect addition to your family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Bigsby is in Tennessee and can be transported to the northeast upon adoption.)  November 5, 2024, 1:27 pm

Meet Charger and Challenger: Your Gentle Giants in Need of Tender Love and Care! Are you ready to welcome a pair of adorable feline companions into your life? Look no further than Charger and Challenger, , two brothers with hearts as big as their purrs! Charger (White), is a social butterfly, always ready for a cuddle session on his terms. He loves to belly flop and get chin scratches, especially when treats are involved! Meanwhile, Challenger, has a newfound love for hopping up on the couch for some quality 'nearness' time.  These boys may get a bit nervous when approached quickly, but once they warm up to you, they'll steal your heart in no time. And while Challenger may be a bit more reserved, he's recently discovered the joys of spending more time in proximity to his people. Sweet Sue is a Torti adult girl who has had a wonderful resurrection from being discovered as a young barn cat to now living inside a wonderful foster home where she has all the comforts that a cat would need.  She is wonderful with other cats but not a playmate to any of the cats.  She just coexists in her more serious state of mind. What she really likes are the DOGS in the home and loves the young active boys that are typical boys.  She even lets them carry her all over the house and will  sleep right next to them under the bed covers with her head on the pillow like a little Queen!   She has exceptional house manners to have come from originally living in a barn and most probably being born there.  We are looking for a little castle for this girl and hoping that she will be treated like the royal girl that she deserves to be.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comNovember 5, 2024, 1:27 pm
