Story
Hi, my name is Bingo! I am an adorable black and white cat who is now available in foster care. I am very sweet and a little shy but I have been getting braver in foster care. I have been virus tested and vaccinated and will be neutered soon. If you are interested in adopting me, please go to mitchellanimalrescue.org and fill out an adoption application. My adoption fee is $75 and I come with a two week trial period.January 24, 2025, 9:19 am

Story
Eudora is a stunning brown tabby with luxurious medium-length fur and a personality as bold as her striking coat. Fiercely independent, she lives life on her terms, doing what she wants when she wants. Eudora has a bit of a sassy streak, and she’s not shy about letting you know when she’s ready for affection—or when she’s had enough. Her attitude only adds to her charm, making her the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a cat with a strong sense of self. While Eudora may be particular about her love and attention, when she decides to grace you with her affection, it’s a moment to treasure. She’ll reward your patience with headbutts, purrs, and quiet companionship on her own schedule. Eudora is the ultimate queen of the house, and for those who respect her boundaries and love her for the confident, spirited cat she is, she’ll bring a unique joy and presence to your home. Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.

Story
This is Spunky! We are unsure of his breed but he is an all white cat w a few black spots. He does have a little stangle tooth which causes him to drool when he’s purring! Spunky is estimated to be around 10/11 years old, and we got him a few years ago when he was left behind in an apartment. Spunky is a very high anxious cat, he does not like loud noises, and tends to always be hiding and/or sleeping somewhere. We have 1 other cat and 1 dog, when he is left alone he is fine but when my dog tries to play w him he does not like it. My dog is a small breed dog, smaller than spunky and tho he tolerates her, he does not like being played with. Reason for us rehoming Spunky is because he has been peeing in random places all over our house and we are just not able to figure out the issue as he’s been to the vet and we’ve tried sprays and wall plug ins. We have a toddler and a baby on the way and unfortunately we can’t keep him due to this issue.
