Story
Shilah lived with an elderly couple for about two years before she was rehomed to me. Her owners got too ill to take care of her, and they had another cat in the home that was not good to Shilah. Therefore, she is now terrified of all cats. I have had her at my house for a couple months, hoping she would warm up to my cats, but she is not good around other cats and my cats are scared of her now. she is a lover cat to people, though she loves cuddles and to be pet. She's shy at first, but opens up quick. She would do best in a home that has a quiet setting and preferably no children, as I'm not sure how she would do around children with high energy. Definitely somebody that's planning on not getting another pet and just wants one cat. The reason I put an adoption fee is to ensure that she goes to a good loving home that will take care of her and not rehome her again. I'm heartbroken that I have to rehome her again, but she will be happier in a home without other cats.

Story
Jimmy's mom was a stray that had her little family outside. A sweet lady found them and provided help and once Jimmy was old enough he came to the shelter to find his forever home. He has been very shy from the start but has made many new friends with the other cats. Jimmy hangs out on what we call the "shy tree" over looking the dog play yard, so plenty to watch. Volunteers are able to pet him and give him love if they can find him in the "right location" ~ not able to run; plus we have to go slow with him. He seems to enjoy being petted and hopefully someone will give him the time he needs to want to be petted all the time. Jimmy loves treats and it's so fun when we see him coming around a corner to see what is happening in the main area. Come meet this boy and see if you are his person. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Mouse is one of 6 gray babies and is probably the shyest of the little family. He loves to watch what is going on and you will find him napping with his siblings and new friends. This little family all looks alike and the volunteers have a hard time telling who is who right off ~ one day. Come meet Mouse and his siblings and see if you can tell who is who.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved.
