Meet Pekoe and Kombucha!! These one year old brothers are super sweet, gentle-natured, and as unique as their tea-inspired names! They’re ready to find their furever home together….could it be with you?? Pekoe is adorable with his silky, medium-length tuxedo coat, fluffy white “neckerchief” and zig-zaggy tail! He greets anyone who comes to visit by sitting and staring with his round-as-saucers eyes until he gets a proper hello, AKA a pet and even a belly rub, then he’s off on an adventure of any kind. Pekoe is always up for high speed games of pounce and chase or a rassle session with his bestie brother, Kombucha. But if Buchy is busy or napping, that’s ok because any toy will do, or even just gazing at the sights and activity out the window. Pekoe is very good at self-entertaining! Kombucha is the more laid-back of this bonded pair. This sleek, black-and-white cow-boy with incredibly soulful eyes loves people! In fact, he often prefers to cuddle up with you (or on you) and watch Pekoe look for and find his own entertainment! But don’t worry, when the mood is right, Buchy parkours off the walls as well as his sibling!! His tail is his most unique feature, it is straight for 1/2 the length, then knotted, with the end dangling like a ponytail….so cute!! These two boys love their Fancy Feast chicken gravy lovers wet food! Pekoe had some stomach sensitivities which have since resolved, so it would be best to stay with their current diet. Their Fancy Feast food is a great choice because it’s widely available online, at pet stores, and even most grocery stores :). They also eat some Purina Beyond Grain-Free Chicken & Egg dry food, but only a small amount, so it’s important for them to continue mainly with wet food. Churus are their treats of choice, but watch out! They’re going to compete for the best spot in your lap to get in the most licks! It’s a cat attack and the competition is ON!! Hope you brought two (or more) Churus to share!! YUM!! Pekoe LOVES to play in the crinkle tunnel while Kombucha’s favorite toy is the automated spinning butterfly toy and hide-n-seek feather!! They also like the ball track, jingle balls, rattle mice, poms, and of course SPRINGS!! And they’re great at using scratching posts and cardboard scratchers.🙂 A nice cat tree is a favorite spot to climb and hide, and watching out the window is their preferred sleepytime activity. Pekoe and Kombucha have always been playmates. Even as tiny kittens in a litter of six, these two rassled each other before they could even walk! 🤣Needless to say they are a bonded pair, and these sweet boys need to be adopted together. Chai and Tai are an adorable bonded sister and brother pair who must be adopted TOGETHER! They were safely born indoors on 3/23/24 to their feral momma Eliza who was trapped at one of our projects. Her foster mom took her in so she could have a safe place to have her babies. Unfortunately, Eliza was too feral and was returned to her colony once her babies were weaned - and she was spayed, of course! Chai has the softest fur with a beautiful grey/silver undercoat. She purrs so loud! She loves cuddles and falling asleep with you. She enjoys fighting with her brother - he’s bigger than she is, but she ALWAYS starts it! When they’re not wrestling or playing, you can find them snoozing together, often on the cat tree. Their foster mom LOVES watching the two snuggle together and sleep. They play so hard together, running all over and playing with toys, then they sleep even harder! Plastic springs and wands are both big hits. Tai is the sweetest boy! He is a protector over his sister and he always watches out for her. He’s also the BEST cuddler! He’s a CRIER for wet food - he cries and cries until he’s fed…Every single morning! This silly boy enjoys playing with felt mice, plastic springs, wands, but he has another favorite pastime - Catching flies!!! He tries so hard to kill flies, whether one sneaks into the house OR when he spots one outside on the window.  They like Purina One Kitten dry and Fancy Feast gravy lovers wet food - no kitten pate please! They get along with cats and kids but haven’t had any exposure to dogs. Nick and Nate are a bonded pair who must be adopted TOGETHER! They are attic babies! They were found in an attic and BTKR rescued them and they’re been in their foster home ever since. They came in very spicy but are very cuddly now. Nate was the spicier one for sure, but you’d never know it now! Nate (tabby) loves to follow his brother Nick around and act like he’s tough, but he’s really not - it’s so cute! He doesn’t let you grab him often but when he does he purrs and purrs - he’s such a sweet boy. He loves ball toys and sleeping on the shoe rack. He loves Temptation lickable treats! He hates the vacuum. Nick loves all toys, but strings are his favorite! His foster mom loves how adaptable he is - he can play with his friends or alone. After a play session, he loves sleeping on the couch. He goes feral for lickable Temptations! When giving him squeeze-up lickable treats he will hold your hand so he can eat it faster! When you’re petting him, he will let you know if you stopped petting him too early by yelling at you 🤣. Like his brother, he’s not a fan of the vacuum, and he doesn’t like the broom either. They get along great with other kittens and cats, but haven’t had any exposure to kids or dogs. Kokomo is a medium hair gray tabby girl who was pregnant when she was found outside. Outdoor life was not kind to her - she had a lot of scabs on her so you could tell she had been in several scuffles, but she’s all healed up now. She was a great mom to her babies, and now they’re all ready for their forever homes! She can be a very sweet girl if you follow her lead. She’ll let you know when she wants to be pet and when she’s had enough. She prefers to be pet on her head, but she loves to be combed, which is a big help with shedding! She can get overstimulated easily so a calming collar is helpful for her. She is not 100% trusting of people yet, so she will do best with someone who is familiar with cats and can read her body language. She does not like to be picked up but will climb into your lap on her own, and she PURRRRS all the time! She also likes to make biscuits. She loves to be on the top of the cat tree. She is still learning to play, so she’s a little unsure of what to do with toys. Despite this, she put all the toys in the bathtub for her babies when they were way too young to play with them - she just knew they were supposed to do something with them! Every once in a while she will grab a toy and toss it around or carry it from one place to another, so we’re sure with time and patience and the right person she will come around. She hasn’t liked most wet food her foster mom has tried to give her. She doesn’t like other cats, and she needs a home without children. Her fosters call her their spunky, outgoing girl because she is always at the door waiting to greet whoever enters! She loves attention and will demand it as soon as she sees you! Itsy is a tabby with an adorable pink nose! She’s more cautious than her spunky big sister — she likes to observe first then join in the fun! She was the smallest of the three but has caught up in size with her sisters. Bitsy is a tabby with a brown nose that you may mistake for Itsy! They not only look alike, but they also act alike too! She is timid at first but warms up quickly. She loves string toys and pets under her chin. The girls love carrying stuffy balls and play mice around in their mouths, batting around springs and crinkle balls, and pouncing on each other!! And they all LOVE chasing anything attached to the end of a cat toy fishing pole! Their foster parents can hear them running around upstairs playing nonstop until it’s time for a nap in their cat tree. The girls have interacted with children under the age of six but were timid due to the children’s loud excitement. They have not been introduced to dogs or other cats. They would do best in a home with other cats or to go to a home together due to their playfulness. They love getting pets and warm up to sitting in your lap. HI! Thanks for noticing me! This is what my foster says about me:Peno is a sweet but independent girl. She has the typical tortitude!She loves back scratches and tail swips but is not a fan of being picked up or held.She gets along with other cats and non reactive dogs, but not totally in love with kittens though She is respectful.She has never been around children and I would only recommend teens or older in her forever home.She still startles easily but does not normally hide.She loves to talk and will let you know when it is mealtime!She will sleep in bed with you.She is totally litter box trained and eats well. Loves kitty treats!She will play with cat dancers for hours and this will be a great way to help her with confidence with her new family. In short, Peno will make a wonderfully quirky family member. She will be the best kitty!

Patricia is not a fan of affection or human interaction at this moment however the staff has been working hard to socialize her to improve her confidence and demeanor. Patricia loves to spend time with her feline friends as long as they are on the calmer side much like herself.
