Story
Sienna is a medium hair, black & white female who came to the rescue as a pregnant stray.  She had 6 kittens!! WOW!  She was a fantastic momma! Even though she’s only around 2 years old, this was not her first litter - but it was her LAST! Now that her babies have been adopted, it's her turn! She is very friendly.  She can be shy at first but will open up quickly.  She is still learning to play with toys - up til now, she was too busy being a momma to be a kitten, but it’s her turn for that, too! She loves butt scritches and head rubs.  She eats Fancy Feast gravy lovers and she loves Temptation treats!  She doesn't mind other cats, as she gets along well with her foster mom's cats.  This petite little girl is ready for her furever home! Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
Hello, my name is Nimbus…short for Cumulonimbus (because that’s a mouthful)! I am a sweet 3-year-old fluffy gray tabby gentleman who was living life outside until the search for an escaped kitty led to me being trapped instead. The foster who trapped me was very concerned because my right eye did not look quite right. Originally when I was neutered, the vet thought I had no second eye but after getting antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection, my caregivers realized I was born with an eye that was not fully formed. While awaiting further answers I had to get yucky eye drops which made me very grumpy! Fortunately, even though I seemed quite grumpy (like a storm cloud…is my name making more sense now?), one of my caregivers could sense I wanted love! After a few gentle pats, I knew the street life was no longer my idea of a good time and have not looked back.   Even though my eye did need to be removed, I am a perfectly happy and healthy boy. I am a bit shy of people, but I get along with other cats and dogs, though I would do just fine as an only cat. I haven’t met any children yet, but I think older kids would be less scary. I love to play with feather wands and sleep in high up places like cat towers. I also love to eat! I like dry food, wet food, and treats. My favorite treats EVER are Lil Soups and Churu. I will be sure to come running if I hear a can or politely remind you with my sweet soft meow if you happen to forget to feed me!   My foster mom absolutely loves my soft fur and my sweet nature. I don’t like to be picked up, so we are working on getting me acclimated by small, short lifts every day. If you are looking for a unique looking, sweet boy who likes to relax and soak up love then I am the cat for you! Story
Hi, my name is Junebug! Let me tell you a little about my life journey so far. One day, a concerned citizen found me coming up to her back door; she believed I was asking for help. I had a wound under my neck and an injury to my tail. This nice lady quickly called for help, reaching out to BTKR. One of the trappers came out and rescued me and got me the proper vet attention I needed. They cleaned my wound and amputated part of my tail. I have been healing and doing great in my foster home. Just look at the pictures of me! I am unsure how I ended up outside, but it didn’t take me long to learn that being inside is awesome! I warmed up and immediately thanked my new foster parents by asking for pets and making biscuits. I am a beautiful domestic medium hair dilute girl! Do not let this grumpy face fool you; I do not have a grumpy bone in my body! I am a total love bug! I enjoy wet and dry food and will let you know when the bowl is empty. It is so nice not to worry about where my next meal will come from! 😊 I have been spayed, updated on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. My foster moms have been amazing, but I am ready to be queen in my own house. I’m good with other cats. I don’t know how I am around dogs or kids, but I am sure I will do just fine with a proper introduction! Are you ready to give me a castle to call my own? Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

HI! Thanks for noticing me! This is what my foster says about me:Peno is a sweet but independent girl. She has the typical tortitude! She loves back scratches and tail swips but is not a fan of being picked up or held. She gets along with other cats and non reactive dogs, but not totally in love with kittens though She is respectful. She has never been around children and I would only recommend teens or older in her forever home. She still startles easily but does not normally hide. She loves to talk and will let you know when it is mealtime! She will sleep in bed with you.She is totally litter box trained and eats well. Loves kitty treats! She will play with cat dancers for hours and this will be a great way to help her with confidence with her new family. In short, Peno will make a wonderfully quirky family member. She will be the best kitty!

Story
Meet Bigsby, also known as Ms. Bigg, a pretty grey and cream tabby who is about eight or nine years old.    Bigsby is a dog in a cat's body, according to her foster's friends. She earned this reputation by coming out of the woodwork and demanding attention from them whenever they visit. Without fail, as soon as a visitor sits in her favorite chair, she assumes this is an invitation to get attention and sprawls on their chest and shoulder and purrs. When her foster worked from home, she was the Official Office Cat and was often the unintentional star of a few Zoom/Teams meetings; her foster has since RTO'd, which makes Bigsby sad. She is very affectionate and wants to be with her people.   Currently, she's living in a house with a few other cats and a couple of big dogs (coonhounds); she doesn't create issues with any of them, though she's not exactly snuggly with them, either. She would likely do just fine as a solo cat or in a household with other pets. Beyond human attention and the standard food, water and a clean litter box, she needs just one thing every day: allergy medication. She's not exactly 'special needs' or high maintenance; her allergy meds keep her healthy and happy.  She is missing most of her teeth, but that doesn't hold her back in any way; the only concession being made for that is wet pate food once a day with dry kibble available on a free-feed basis.    Bigsby is a fantastic, engaging older cat who deserves her own human to love her.  She is totally vetted and ready for her forever home.  If you think  will be the purrfect addition to your family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Bigsby is in Tennessee and can be transported to the northeast upon adoption.)  November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

I am Lovey Dovey Luna, a Princess and Queen among many who want to rule my domain.  I am a gorgeous 10 month tabby girl ready to go to my throne in your home if you will offer me a queenly scepter.  Just so you know how to make my home a grand place to live…I will require toys…Lots of toys!  And I am requesting a  sunny spot in a window to be all mine every day.  Of course I have had the full Queenly treatment of being spayed and updated on my vaccines.  I have only had the best of vetting in preparation of being adopted and living to be 20 years old…as some well-kept cats can do.  If you are interested in my beauty and charm to permeate your house with love,  here I am.  A ready Queen just for you.  Please email ccrnewengland@gmail.com.  Critter Cavalry Rescue is there to help  you take my paw in total cat commitment. Story
Meet Charger and Challenger: Your Gentle Giants in Need of Tender Love and Care! Are you ready to welcome a pair of adorable feline companions into your life? Look no further than Charger and Challenger, , two brothers with hearts as big as their purrs! Charger (White), is a social butterfly, always ready for a cuddle session on his terms. He loves to belly flop and get chin scratches, especially when treats are involved! Meanwhile, Challenger, has a newfound love for hopping up on the couch for some quality 'nearness' time.  These boys may get a bit nervous when approached quickly, but once they warm up to you, they'll steal your heart in no time. Picture this: a cozy evening, Charger by your side, happily accepting belly rubs as you unwind with your favorite TV show or book. And while Challenger may be a bit more reserved, he's recently discovered the joys of spending more time in proximity to his people. When it's mealtime, these boys are all in for some affectionate touches and pats – they truly appreciate the love while they eat. Despite their initial shyness, neither have shown any signs of aggression towards people or other animals. However, catching and crating them can be a bit of a challenge, so they'll need a patient and understanding owner who can help them build trust and confidence over time. Both boys have been fully vetted and microchipped and are ready to find their permanent home. Their favorite toys are laser pointers, catnip mice (especially the ones that move), and cat trees where they can be high or hide. These sweet boys thrive in a calm, stable home without the hustle and bustle of young children or excessive noise. While they're not quite lap cats yet, in the right environment, they could blossom into outgoing kitties, eager for affection and playtime. Both boys are food and resource driven, but they've shown no interest in causing mischief on countertops or with plants. Imagine the joy of watching them grow more comfortable and confident in their new home, knowing that your love and care have made all the difference in their lives.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to Charger and Challenger, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your kindness and compassion could make all the difference in their lives. Let's give them the loving forever home they deserve – they're waiting for you with open paws!    If you are interested please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. Story
Sweet Sue is a Torti adult girl who has had a wonderful resurrection from being discovered as a young barn cat to now living inside a wonderful foster home where she has all the comforts that a cat would need.  She is wonderful with other cats but not a playmate to any of the cats.  She just coexists in her more serious state of mind. What she really likes are the DOGS in the home and loves the young active boys that are typical boys.  She even lets them carry her all over the house and will  sleep right next to them under the bed covers with her head on the pillow like a little Queen!   She has exceptional house manners to have come from originally living in a barn and most probably being born there.  We are looking for a little castle for this girl and hoping that she will be treated like the royal girl that she deserves to be.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comNovember 4, 2024, 11:48 pm
