Story
Everyone meet our fluffy girl Olive! Olive is a princess looking for her very own castle and servants. Someone to feed her delicious wet food and Churu treats, to keep her litterbox nice and tidy, and to dote on her while she spends the day watching birds and squirrels from the window. Oh, and let’s not forget a personal trainer to run her around with cat toys!   Olive has been unlucky with humans in the past, so she is wary when meeting new people. She’s a stubborn girl who wants you to earn her trust before she opens up. We recommend setting her up in your bedroom for a few weeks, so she gets to know you before letting her explore the house or meeting new furry friends. She needs to know you are safe before you are allowed to grace her with pets (belly rubs only on her command, of course).   Olive 100% knows she’s always the prettiest in the room and doesn’t care for female competition. Olive gets along much better with male cat friends who want her constant love and affection. She will swoon for the right boy. We don’t believe Olive has ever met a dog, but a calm, quiet dog would probably be best. Don’t want to annoy our princess ;)   She truly needs a quiet and understanding family to let her blossom. Olive deserves the dream life and we hope someone out there is willing to give it to her! Story
Grover is a momma's boy and the big brother to a big group of kittens! He makes sure everyone is included when playing, and he loves to find new places to explore. He will play for hours and then enjoy watching some cat TV on his foster mom's phone. This little guy has big potential to become a cherished family member in his new home.   He'll need to be adopted with a litter mate (Abby Kadabby, Julia or miss finch) or into a forever home with an existing playful feline.   Approximate DOB: April 2024 Foster Home Location: Fort Atkinson     Consider adopting 2 kittens! There are many benefits including: - One kitten can become lonely and bored - Two kittens will keep each other busy - Having two kittens is very entertaining! - You’ll have fewer behavioral issues with two kittens - You’ll save TWO lives instead of just one - Adoption fee is discounted for the 2nd kitten     If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website:    https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Weatherby Grumbles, Esq. is a fancy name for a cat with humble beginnings. Grumbles was trapped at a farm where our rescue is working to help control the feral cat population. We get them all fixed up and sterilized, then bring them back home to live out the rest of their lives sans baby-making. Most of them want absolutely nothing to do with people. But some have a little special something, like Grumbles.   It's been a few months since Grumbles moved inside a house. He's learned all sorts of things that we take for granted, such as the sounds of the dishwasher don't mean a big scary monster is coming to eat him. He uses the scratching posts very well.    Grumbles appreciates having some good hidey hole options to retreat to, and doesn't much care for the boisterous dogs he shares his foster home with. A bit too much for him. He does absolutely adore his fellow kitty friends. They are always snuggling, grooming each other, or wrassling. He will take people pets from time to time, on his terms, because hands are still a bit intimidating. He's kind of like the budget version of a bougie peacock; you appreciate his good looks with your eyes. From a distance.    And he does grumble. After all, he has that big, fancy name to live up to.    Approximate DOB: 2022 Foster Home Location: Madison If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Jade is a sassy princess. She had a few bad teeth removed and now her tongue hangs out of her mouth a tiny bit making her even more adorable. She has a beautiful silvery gray coat that is medium length. It is clear she was well loved before the rescue received her because she is a calm little lap cat. Now that her teeth aren’t painful, she’s eating the wet and dry food good. She likes to play with wand toys, roll in catnip and get brushing from her foster mom. She is also content to just lounge on the couch with her foster mom on those lazy Saturdays. She is doing well in her home with other cats with her laid back demeanor. She’s now just looking for her forever home where she can be a little princess.   Approximate DOB: 2018 Foster Home Location: West Allis    If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff     Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
These two have come so far, literally far - all the way from Kuwait, and medically far as well. Little Helen Keller and Murdock are both Arabian Maus that arrived at 5 months of age; both under 2 lbs! Helen is definitely the protector. Shes missing one eye and has limited vision in the other but she doesn't seem to miss a thing! She's always there by Murdock's side as a reassuring force. She's strong willed and a go go girl but loves her booty scratched and purrs like a freight train! Murdock is a complete love bug who melts into your body shoving his face under your chin like he just can't get close enough! He adores cuddles and enjoys being brushed every day. Although he is blind and has CH, he gets around very well and loves to explore new areas. Since arriving on American soil in December, they've reached healthy weights, recovered from eye infections and enucleations, and became free of ringworm (common in our Kuwait rescues). Murdock did all of this while having CH (cerebellar hypoplasia) - wobbling through it all completely blind. They purred and played every day getting more and more strong and healthy as time went by. And now, they are as healthy as can be and ready to find their home together to be loved snuggled and spoiled every day. These two had such a rough start in life, they're looking to catch up on fun and lovies!
