On June 11th, we caught 6 kittens around 2 months old and began taming them to be able to be around humans. Lily is a very scared kitten. Many things terrify her and she needs ample time and work to get her to become a suitable cat for adoption. She hisses and runs away when we try to pet her, despite all the work we have already done with her. She sometimes gets a wild hair and enjoys playing, but she is constantly aware of her surroundings and will run at the first movement. When she is in a new environment she will hiss and spit at other cats and animals. This is the only reason we feel she needs an experienced adopter. Overall, Lily's temperament needs much work, but with an experienced adopter and a lot of patience, we feel she truly can flourish and be a good cat.
