Lucy came into rescue with 3 kittens. She was shy and reclusive for awhile, but has grown into a sweet, affectionate and appreciative cat. She is a lovely girl who deserves to be taken care of by a special family. She is unsure of people at first, but will warm up to a kind and sensitive owner.j These last months she has developed a bond with another of our cats, Mr. Knightly. This is a HUGE step forward in the social progress for both of these cats and we do not want to separate them. It's hard to find a good friend in this world and Lucy and Knightly both deserve to keep the friendship. We ask they be adopted together. We are looking for a kind heart to offer them a home together. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is much appreciated and much needed. Cash or check only - we do not take credit cards.

Beauty is really beautiful. Her coat is glossy and jet black and she has white on her chest and tummy and under both hind legs. Her personality is also beautiful--affectionate and super playful and very secure in herself. A lovely young girl who is ready for a new home. there is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed and much appreciated.

Beautiful dark brown tabby from a litter of 7 in Portola. A gorgeous girl with lots of potential These siblings are exceptional in their soft coats and sweet dispositions. A really lovely batch of babies. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much needed andmuch appreciated. We are unable to utilize debit or credit cards so donations are cash or check only please.

Mr. Black is a stunningly gorgeous big boy. He loves affection and has a wonderful purr motor. He can be shy with people at first but has very affectionate nature and would warm up swiftly in a real home. He is one of the first to come and crawl in your lap while cleaning or sitting on the floor. Please do not overlook this beauty because he is black-he is super worthwhile!! His sister, Storm, is also in rescue and they would love to have a home together. There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation to Friends is always much appreciated and much needed.

Skunk is rescued from the Quincy Animal Shelter in early January. She is super friendly and was turned over to the animal shelter due to the owner's child developing allergies to cats. She is a real cutie and becoming a favorite to the volunteers. She is vaccinated and spayed and has been an indoor/outdoor cat. She really needs a forever home since the other cats are starting to pick on her Come on down and meet her. She would probably do best in a single cat household. Not sure how she does with dogs. There is no adoption fee but we do ask for a donation since we are a non-profit organization.

Forrest has been with Friends for about three months. He is about 2 years old and came in with his brother Lt. Dan.. He has been neutered and has had this rabies shot. Forrest is outgoingand loves his pets. Forrest will make air biscuits and roll around when receiving pets and gives kitty licks. He has a crooked bob tail. Sweet boy... There is not adoption fee but we do ask for a donation since we are a non-profit organization.
