Story
Peggy is a funny, tripod girl who loves to talk to you with the cutest little chirps and squeaks. Even with just three legs, she gets the zoomies and runs super fast around the house. Our little speedster Peggy was born into a bad situation, and she spent the first half of her life with very, very little human attention, as well one deformed back leg. She's all fixed up now and she's learned two important lessons: she's much better off with just three legs, and humans are AWESOME. Peggy has a resilient spirit, a zest for life, a strong voice, and no fear. Help us make the rest of Peggy's life as amazing as she is by giving her a loving home! Primary Color: Black Age: 1yrs 10mths 2wks

Story
This is Genevive, AKA Cheeseburger! This goofy little girl is an absolute joy to have around. She loves her fellow fur-friends, and loves starting conversation with her human friends.Genevive was found in not great circumstances, and unfortunately, those circumstance compromised her vision. Has this stopped her from doing literally anything...absolutely not! Her foster parents have learned that she really utilizes her hearing to get around and to play. This being said, Genevive is very sensitive to noise. Recently, she heard a doorbell for the first time and growled at the noise. Kissy noises send her running for the hills. The sound of a bell toy immediately grabs her attention and she will come running if her name(s) is called. While not completely blind, the occasional slip, bump, or fall is to be expected.Couple things know about Genevive: She announces to the class when she catches her toy and proudly walks around showing off her trophies (even if its attached to the door frame). She has a passion for food! To the point where she will steal unattended food and will attempt to hide it around the house. Genevive LOVES her fur friends, even though she takes much joy in annoying her older roommates. One of her foster parent's favorite things about her, is her inability to sleep with her tongue in her mouth. She is truly a one in a million! Genevive is excited for a very special home to call hers! Story
"Like his namesake Blues Brother, Jake had a rough start to life. For our tiny house panther, this meant not knowing how much food would be available and not trusting humans. But Jake has learned that humans are here to love on him and treat him well, and in response, he has blossomed into a very affectionate kitty. He's still mellow and can have a shy streak at first. He's perfectly content laying on his bed and napping, but once you approach, he'll start nudging your hand and rolling over for pets. When he's extra happy, he purrs very loudly, gives love bites, and drools! He also really loves being talked to. Other kitties are really drawn to his gentle nature, and you'll often find him snoozing around with another cat cuddled up with him. " adopt this gentle panther today. Story
Mr. Green had rough beginnings and has had his trust of humans tested many times, yet this boy still purrs so loud when he relaxes into pets. He is a very slow-to-warm-up boy, but in a quiet home with an understanding human he will flourish. Mr. Green loves the attention of other kitties and loves to snuggle with them and groom and be groomed. He can be skittish when he's approached too fast, but once he relaxes, he will settle into your heart with his sweet purrs and love. Mr. Green would do best in a home with a calm family looking for a companion for another kitty. Give him your patience and he will give you his love. ♥️ Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Age: 1yrs 6mths 1wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Ginger was brought in by her previous owner on September 19, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Ginger! This lovely lady is the red tabby of your dreams! Ginger adores attention, but she prefers it on her own terms - after all, a queen deserves to be treated like one! Ginger can be easily overstimulated at times and requires a cat-savvy household without children. This means that even though she loves attention, she can become overwhelmed and requires frequent breaks. She would love to sit on your lap and enjoy a movie night, but may not want to be pet the whole time. Ginger would thrive in a home with plenty of space to roam and a big cat tree to relax on. Ginger also has quite the vocal range and isn't shy about letting you know when she wants attention or treats! She's a charming gal and is ready to share that charm with her new family. Come by our Oceanside campus to adopt Ginger today - and don't forget to bring a large, hard-sided cat carrier for a safe journey home! For more information about overexcited cats, please Click here. Story
How this pet arrived: Starfire was brought in by his previous owner on January 7, 2024. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Starfire, a fiery feline who believes in boundaries-and enforcing them with the precision of a seasoned diplomat! Starfire will let you know exactly when it's time for you to engage in the art of adoration. Spoiler: it's on his terms! Don't worry, though-once you've earned his trust, you'll be granted the rare privilege of petting him. Did you know that cats sometimes have petting limits? Starfire is here to educate the masses. When he's had enough, his signals might involve a quick swat, a little nibble, or the classic "tail flick of disapproval." So, always check with the boss before proceeding with more pets! Starfire is seeking a kingdom (with a catio or safe outdoor space for his royal prowls) where he can rule without the disturbance of children. He's not a fan of being picked up-he prefers to keep his paws firmly on the ground. If he's uncomfortable, he may have some issues using the litter box, so a gradual introduction to the household is important! If you're ready to embrace the elegance and mystery of true feline magnificence, Starfire will grace you with his (occasional) affection. Don't forget to bring a large, hard-sided cat carrier for a safe journey home! Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Blue Weight: 10.4 Age: 7yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
How this pet arrived: Jellybean was brought in by a community member on January 5, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Jellybean is a cat with a PhD in Napping and a master's degree in Blanket Burrowing. Her hobbies include perfecting the art of the hide-and-seek champion (spoiler: she always wins), curling up in her beloved hidey tent, and judging the world from a safe, elevated perch. She's looking for a quiet, peaceful kingdom where she can rule with a soft paw-no rambunctious dogs or tiny humans, please! Jellybean will need time, patience, and an extended period of royal acclimation (translation: a comfy confinement space, plenty of snacks, and the occasional whispered compliment). Win her heart with tasty treats, fun toys, and a gentle approach, and you'll be rewarded with a loyal, if slightly mysterious, feline companion. Jellybean does enjoy petting from her favorite people and she will reward you with purrs and maybe a little drool! If you're ready to offer Jellybean the tranquil, cozy paradise she deserves, come meet her-just be prepared for her to be watching from under a blanket! Shy/Fearful Cat: Jellybean requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Black Weight: 11 Age: 13yrs 11mths 2wks

Story
How this pet arrived:Squeek was transferred in from another animal welfare organization on February 19, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Squeek-yes, the spelling is intentional! Her tiny, high-pitched meow is utterly endearing, and she's ready to charm her way into your heart. She is looking for a home without the hustle and bustle of young children. Squeek is currently recovering from an upper respiratory infection, a common and treatable cat cold. She is also FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), which means her immune system is slightly weakened, making routine vet check-ups and good dental care especially important. FIV+ cats must remain indoor-only to prevent exposure to illnesses and to avoid spreading the virus to outdoor cats. Squeek's mild dental disease means she may need extra dental care in the future, but for now, she's just looking for a loving home where she can squeak and snuggle to her heart's content. When you come to meet her, don't forget to bring a cat carrier-she may be little, but she's not riding home unrestrained!FIV+ Cats: Please click HERE to learn more about cats with FIV. How this pet arrived: Wiley was transferred in from another animal welfare organization on February 19, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Wiley! Wiley arrived with his best friend, Spot #942535 and they would prefer to be adopted together! Wiley is a shy and enigmatic feline who believes the best way to greet new people is from the safety of his favorite hiding spot. He's a firm believer in the "look but don't touch (yet)" philosophy, but with time, treats, and patience, he just might let you into his exclusive inner circle. Wiley is currently rocking a broken bottom right canine tooth. His adopter will need to schedule a dental procedure with their private veterinarian after adopting-so be prepared for some post-surgery grumpy cat glares. He's also sporting a bit of hair loss on his face, likely from rubbing his carrier. This elusive gentleman will need a quiet home with plenty of safe hiding spots and high-up perches to survey his new kingdom from a respectable distance. And remember-when coming to bring home this distinguished introvert, do not forget your cat carrier!Shy/Fearful Cat:Wiley requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. How this pet arrived: Spot was transferred in from another animal welfare organization on February 19, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Spot! Spot is a shy, mysterious little lady who believes that every new home should come with a secret hideout (or three). She'll need a quiet space to settle in, but once she feels safe, she just might grace you with her presence-like a rare, majestic house panther emerging from the shadows. Spot came in with her best buddy, Wiley #942538 and they would love to be adopted together!. She's currently healing from a jaw wound, so she's embracing her inner tough kitty vibes. And please, don't forget a cat carrier-Spot is not the "ride shotgun on the way home" type.
