Story
Fish is our longest resident in rescue. She has been with us almost two years!! Help us find her a home! We got her as a small 4 month old kitten who was having some weird health issues. She couldn't even walk. After spending over a month at the vet on various meds she made a full recovery. Fish is the ultimate companion for any cat lover who can also relate to cats. She isn't the stage five clinger type you see in dogs. But, rather a companion who doesn't require a lot of physical attention. She would love to just bask in the glow of your company. Fish absolutely LOVES other cats and a home with another feline companion is an absolute must for this darling girl. She is playful with other kitties and is much more confident when she has another kitty to look up to. Fish is also a goofy, comediac gal who keeps her foster laughing at her silly antics. Fish is litter box trained and an indoor companion only. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you.August 18, 2024, 7:55 pm

Story
Please consider sponoring a cat for a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.Fair was found dumped at the Pensacola Fair Grounds in a bag.  She has spent time in foster care, and her foster family said she has turned out to be an awesome kitty who would be purrfect for her own family.  While she really isn't fond of laying in your lap, she does love to spend time and be close to her family.  She is quiet and friendly and would do well in a quiet home without young children. Fairs adoption fee is $75.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative), microchip, and spay surgery that is already done. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org.  There is a link on the top of the home page. Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat for a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. Amber is a  rare orange tabby female . She was rescued as a kitten from a colony of cats in the Pine forest area. Amber  has gorgeous deep round pools of amber for eyes that seem to stare into your soul and instinctively determine if you are worthy of her affection or not. When she likes you, she is quite the purr box and churtles when petted or brushed. Amber is quite playful with other kitties and by herself, but also likes her "space" sometimes. She  would do best in a quiet home where she is the queen of the castle or perhaps with one other companion kitty to play with.  Amber’s hobbies include playing tag, bug chasing, birdwatching, and reading or napping while you read. .  Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online  Cat Adoption Application  on our website  aaFlorida.org .  There is a link on the top of the home page. Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat for a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need.Morris is sweet but somewhat shy large male tabby with a luxurious thick coat and beautiful golden eyes. He was pulled from a feral cat colony in January 2020 as a kitten, along with four other kittens of various ages that were not from the same litter. He is a gentle mannered cat, and always allows the ladies to eat first. He is very laid back and spends hours just quietly watching the birds outside the window. He loves to romp and play with all of the other kitties during free time and he plays well with other kitties. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat for a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. Sissy is a classy creamy white lady with the classic Vanburen pattern in orange on her ears and tail. Sissy is a gentle soul, a sweet but shy lady who was rescued with her little mini-me daughter, Sassy from a large colony of kitties. Both Sissy and Sassy were young and roughly the same size when they were rescued, so it was originally thought that they were siblings, but after they visited the vet to get spayed the vet indicated Sissy was likely "a baby having babies" and was actually the mother of Sassy! Sissy prefers napping on the cat tree, spending her days watching birds out the window and reading books, but she also loves to be petted and brushed and will blossom in a quiet adult home with someone who has time and attention to spend with her.      Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, FeLV test, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. All kitties are litterbox trained. Story
Please consider sponsoring a cat. For as little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. Holstein is a sweet kitty that showed up looking for food at the back door of one of our foster mom's house in the summer of 2020. He is a big boy who is a lover, not a fighter. It took a few months, but the foster was able to gain Holstein’s trust. He now enjoys pets. He is still a little shy and quiet, but he loves the attention of other kitties. He loves to be brushed and petted. In a nice, quiet home with loving patience, Holstein is sure to blossom into a big lap cat. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. Story
Hello! My name is Brady Farrar and I am a gentle soul. I'm not as rambunctious as some but I do love to play in shorter bursts! I have discovered the red dot! I can chase and wrestle with my bigger brothers and sisters but then it is definitely nap time! I look forward to lots of cuddle time! I love to be held and gently stroked. I have a very large purr for a little boy and will probably purr you to sleep! I get along well with everyone I meet...kids, cats and even dogs! I have megaesophagus but that doesn't stop me. My foster parent is willing to train my new family after you do some research on feline megaesophagus to be sure you'll choose me for life!
