Sunshine was rescued with brothers and sisters from a large trash truck at a repair yard where they were not safe. She was lucky because a Good Samaritan trapped, spayed and got her all ready to be adopted, including her siblings. Sunshine is a gentle little girl but takes a little time to warm up to new situations and people. She is a shy girl but affectionate once she gains trust. She will rub on your legs to request a neck scratch or back massage. She loves to play with toys and the “cat ball track”. She gets along well with other kitties. She enjoys laying in the cat tree where she finds her peace. She needs someone that is patient and will give her time to settle into her new home. Sunshine is spayed, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, fecal tested negative, dewormed and vaccinated (including rabies). Moonshadow was abandoned or lost but attempts to locate her owner were unsuccessful.  Her spicy spirit and playful nature is so much fun to watch.  Fuzzy catnip toys and toy springs along with playing with the resident adult cats are her favorite things to do.  She is comfortable in her environment and just the right amount of cattitude.  We think she would love to own you and have you attend to all of her requirements, lol.  She's just not sure about being owned! Sami had shown up at a young man’s back patio in Miami and he contacted the rescue for help. He brought her to our vet where Sami was diagnosed with severe anemia. She was loaded with hookworms and fleas but is doing great now. Sami does have allergies, resulting in excessive scratching and does better on a restrictive diet. We are trying different proteins to see which one she does best on. She does love to eat! She loves to run, chase toys, occasionally plays fetch, and is a genuine love muffin. Sami will follow you around the house and is a purring machine! She likes to cuddle but is not keen on being held. Sami is okay with other cats and would be just fine if she was the center of your world. He is a little higher energy than his sister, but typical for a kitten. Anyone who picks him will be very happy. DOB 1/9/24 We don't know what caused Tracey's partial back leg but we knew it was necessary to amputate, as her kitten energy running & jumping was causing continued injury to it. She recovered quickly from her surgery, refusing to be confined or still. Even the "cone of shame" failed to slow her down. She quickly adapted to life literally on the run with 3 legs! It has not held her back one bit!! It was clear from the start she has a fearless and resilient spirit! She surpasses all boundaries & is equal parts curious, playful, energetic, sweet & silly! She loves the sink & is infatuated with the drips of water. We have a video of her in the sink having the time of her life lol. When she tires he self in there, & all drips have been 'conquered' she'll just curl up for a catnap. She's like a sassy puppy always looking for her next adventure. She loves to follow her foster mom around, looking to cuddle, give kisses and nudges until falling asleep while purring.
