Story
Tally and Musa are a pair of sweethearts that met each other while in a foster home. Tally, whose tail had been recently amputated, was recovering in a calm and quiet home when the very scared and timid Musa came to join him. The two were an instant match made in heaven, and have been inseparable ever since! Tally is a social boy that loves to talk with his people. He is super into food and head scratches, and he very proudly holds the title of ""professional napper."" Musa, on the other hand, prefers to let Tally get all the attention. She is a curious girl that is still a bit skittish with people, but she has been making a tremendous effort to be more social in her foster home. For Musa, this looks like her not hiding away at every chance she gets. Tally and Musa love to cuddle and play together, and they almost always spend their time near one another. They are a wonderful and adorable duo that would love to find their forever home! Musa is part of our Catitude adoption program and staff are happy to talk you through way to support a kitty like Musa.

Story
Scoochers' foster reports that she is one of the sweetest cats! She has never hissed or swatted and she does well with both dogs and cats. She plays a little with other kitties, but she can be very independent as well. She has recently discovered that being petted is pretty awesome. Treats were a big help with realizing this. At times she has the tendency to run away, but with patience, treats, and sweet little talks she will come around to pets and sweet little moments of conversation. She also has the prettiest green eyes, the softest coat imaginable and cute little white socks. It is important to say this again, Scoochers is really the sweetest kitty!!! If you have experience with scared cats and want to help this girl out please let us know.

Story
Finn is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. This is Finn! He's a big giant sweetheart cat. He does well with other cats as long as he has time to be introduced properly. He has not spent much time around dogs. He's very social with all ages of people and loves attention. I've had Finn since he was a kitten and it breaks my heart to try and rehome him. Unfortunately he has had some health issues involving crystals in his urine. He recently passed a crystal and went through a round of antibiotics and is now on prescription food to keep him healthy and hydrated. My current housing situation isn't ideal for him and I'm moving before next year so I believe it is in Finn's best interest for me to find him a new home. He's extremely sweet, curious, and all around amazing pet. If you are interested in Finn please email: jakewood317@gmail.com. ***Please ignore the Apply to Adopt button for this pet & contact the owner directly***

Story
Mya is a sweet, loving little lady. She is easy going and likes to stay snuggled up in her bed and lounge around. The shelter is just a little bit too loud and busy for her taste, so if you see her hiding, don't be fooled! She is a sweet heart and once she settles into her new home you'll have a purfect new BFF. She enjoys the company of mature cats like her. she found younger, energetic pets too stressful to live with, but has happily cohabitated with older cats in the past.

Story
The first thing you will notice about Walter when you meet him is how handsome and regal he looks! His ears sit very high on his head and it makes him look like the cat Egyptian statues were modeled after. But that is where his regalness ends, I’m afraid. He is a very talkative fellow with a uniquely croaky meow which does not quite match his ‘worshiped for a millennia’ vibe. However, once he’s comfortable, his croaky meow will sometimes turn into soft, cute little merps that will absolutely steal your heart. Walter has two great loves in this world (soon to be three when he finds his forever family!), being outside, but he is still warming up to this whole harness and leash idea, and his favorite feather toy. His feather toy broke recently and not even a Sarah McLachlan commercial had such sad eyes as Walter while he waited for the replacement to arrive in the mail. But as long as his feather toy is in good working order, Walter is a very chill cat. He is unphased by new people, even kids. Walter is an older gentleman and he does have some health issues that are easily managed with medication but he takes his medicine without any fuss. I’ve also been able to trim his nails without any issues. He is a great cat that will fit perfectly into your life if you’ll give him a chance. He’s got a lot of love to give and he’s ready to spend his golden years being worshiped like one of those statues snuggling on the couch with you. Walter does have hyperthyroid (like so many other old cats) and receives medication for it daily.
