Winona is part of the litter of 9 and she is the most reserved but still very sweet.  This whole group of kittens is very unusually marked and they have some of the most mellow demeanor with Winona being the most calm of them all.  She loves to be petted but she is very content to curl up in her spot on the kitty climber that sits by the window of their room.  We rarely see her playing with toys and she is very happy when one of her siblings decides to come join her for a cuddle. Wilson!!!!  What a card this dashing boy can be.  He comes from a litter of 9 black and white siblings and he is easily the most adventuresome.  While the others are mellow and laid back content to nap and snuggle, Wilson is out and about trying to find ways to entertain himself.   When we think it is time for him to go back to his room for a snack he likes to play 'catch me if you can!' but when you do he is certainly happy for the snuggles that he gets while you carry him and he will give you sweet kisses knowing that he will soon escape again to find new and exciting adventures....it may just be the laundry room to us but to Wilson it is a world of unknown corners to explore!  Lol!  If you would like a character like this little guy in your life please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Cat adoption application.  August 19, 2024, 9:50 pm

Ever heard the expression ‘full of piss n vinegar’?  Well thank goodness Trish was full of something because we are pretty sure that’s the only reason she is still with us now. A Tom cat attacked Trish and her siblings. Two were killed and her mom was able to get two and head out of harms way. We are pretty sure that Little Trish turned on her tough girl attitude and fought with all her little heart!  She did not escape harm however and had an injury that affected her ability to walk. She was brought into our foster care so that we could do therapy with this tiny but mighty girl. She fought and her foster worked with her slowly helping her grow and gain strength.
