We often come across cats that for many different reasons are not suitable for inside homes. These cats desperately need barn homes to avoid euthanasia. These cats do require basic care: access to food, fresh water, and appropriate shelter. In return they will work for you and can provide inexpensive pest control. Remi is a Domestic Short Hair, Manx mix, Bob-Tail  Female born March 2019. Remi is a food lovin' kinda girl, she is always ready for her food and often reminds you if you are late. Her favorite toy is her flamingo which she packs everywhere with her. She enjoys laps and all the snuggles. She is currently having a hard time emotionally after her spay surgery. She is on anxiety meds but her vet is hopeful after finding her perfect quiet home she will be able to be weaned off of them. She would do well in a quiet home with no other animals. She would do fine with older children and does great with adults. She is just needs a little tender loving care and some patience and will make a great cat. Cricket is a Domestic Short Hair, Tabby with white, Female, Born September 2021.  Cricket is a very devoted affectionate kitty and will get in your lap as soon as you sit down. She does get jealous of other kitties if they interrupt any cuddle time.  Cricket loves food. Especially human food.  If you want a kitty that will become your best friend and your world then she's your girl.  She does not mind dogs and pays little attention to them.  Cricket is an FIP treatment survivor. Her observation ended and she is finally ready to find her forever home. At this time, she is healthy and has not had any rebounds since treatment. A beautiful black and white female domestic cat. Shock was surrendered with her litter mates Lock and Barrel and she is the only remaining one out of the litter. Shock may be shy and standoffish at first but we believe once she is adopted, she will finally be able to open up and thrive. She needs someone to give her a chance and that can be patient with her. She can be misunderstood at times but that’s OK! Shock does well with other cats and doesn’t mind dogs. She would probably do best in a home with older children as she is shy. She has started to open up more and we hope her going into a home will help socialize her more. After being rescued by our Humane Agent, Ramirez is starting to decompress & open up. He had a rough life before coming to HSAC & he is learning how to be a normal cat.
