Story
Name: Alto Age: 1-2 years Breed: Domestic Short Hair Gender: Neutered Male Good with Dogs: Unknown, never really been around them Good with Cats: Unknown, never really been around them Good with Children: Never been around them Current weight: 9.6lbs FeLv/FIV test: Negative Adoption Fee: $50 Misc. Information: Alto was surrendered to the shelter because his owner moved to a home that does not allow animals. He was described as a quiet, friendly, loving, yet demanding and energetic cat. He loves to play with toys and would benefit from having several scratching posts throughout the house. Alto has never been around children so doing slow and supervised introductions and giving Alto time to adjust will be required in a new home. He seems to be a very sweet and loving cat and more than likely will do just fine in a home with children given time and patience. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Injuries or accidents that occur at the adopter's home are not covered. The shelter is not responsible for incurred costs from local veterinarians due to non-compliance. ALL adoptions are final! Story
Name: Buttercup Age: 6-8 Months Breed: Domestic Short Hair Gender: Spayed Female Good with Dogs: Yes, but he will require a proper introduction. Good with Cats: Yes, but he will require a proper introduction. Good with Children: Never been around children Current weight: 6lbs FeLv/FIV test: Neg Adoption Fee: Waived Misc. Information: Buttercup was adopted and returned shorty after because she was not compatable in the new home. Buttercup has been very unpredictable while here at the shelter. She acts as though she wants attention but will hiss at you and act stand-offish. She may be better once out of the shelter but here she gets extremely over stimulated which is the cause for her behavior here. Buttercup is being adopted out through our barn program as she may do better in an environment where she can have attention on her own terms if she wants it. The shelter provides a 5-day health guarantee for adopted animals. This includes health conditions not present or known about by the shelter at the of adoption, which adopter becomes aware of within 5 days. Story
Willow was my first cat. She’s three years old. Her birthday is November 19, 2021. I know all these things because she feels like my kid. I love her just like one. Willow has a way of making you feel special. She will come up and lay on your chest and pur for hours. when you come home from a long day at work, she will always be sitting on your bed and be waiting for you to come and sit with her and she will give you this look like she was so excited but she is too lazy to get up like she has worked an eight hour shift. she is just so sweet. She loves to look out the window, she doesn’t play much, since she acts like an old lady, she just likes to look at the birds outside and give kisses. She’s just a good girl. I love her very much, it’s hard to rehome her, I just can’t have cats at my next apartment.

Story
Gretchen has the biggest, beautiful eyes and loves to play fetch with her mouse toy! She also loves curling up in your lap or under the covers to take a nap. She and her sister are full of playful energy and will run around until they get tired. Then they'll come to you for snuggles. They can always be heard purring and have the sweetest meows. Regina is a soft, elegant ball of joy. She is very content making biscuits on you and will give your hand a gentle nudge with her head if she wants more pets. If you pat your legs while standing, she will reach up for attention. She and her sister are full of playful energy and will run around until they get tired. Then they'll come to you for snuggles. Regina loves to chirp at the laser pointer! They can always be heard purring and have the sweetest meows. These girls were returned to the shelter 12/17/24 after being adopted 10/7/24. A stressful environment led to a painful UTI and the adopters failed to take them to a vet for treatment. These ladies are a little sensitive to changes and are struggling with cystitis flare ups. We have hopes that a prescription diet will give these ladies much needed relief. Give these sweet, affectionate girls a permanent home!
