Story
Tinsel is a precious mama kitty with a GORGEOUS marbled tabby coat! She came in with two kittens, one cream orange and one all gray, and even shortly helped by fostering "Fig," another kitten who came in solo and sad! Tinsel is newer to FFAA and was picked up as a stray. She's still early in her warming up process - one that will be much easier and faster once she goes to her forever home. Consider taking a chance on this gorgeous girl, who no matter how frightened she's been has been nothing but patient, kind, and accepting. We'd love for Tinsel to experience this holiday season in a home of her own, for potentially the first time ever.

Story
Godmother is a PRECIOUS calico mama who came in with 3 perfect little girls. Her kiddos are grown up and all adopted (but 1), and it's time for the spotlight to move to the mamacat hat raised them. Not only is she adorable, Godmother's temperment could grant wishes - she's sooooo affectionate, gentle, and loving. Make this attentive and deserving girl's dreams come true by doing some wish granting of your own. She is strongly bonded to her only remaining daughter at this point (Drizella) and we'd prefer that they go to their forever home together! If she sounds like the magical kitty for you, fill out an application on our website or come visit her in person. The spell she casts will not be disappointing. We are open Wed-Fri 12-7, Sat-Sun 10-4, and we are closed Mondays & Tuesdays.Email adopt.ffaa@gmail.com with any questions or visit https://www.ffaaneosho.org/ and fill out our application online.

Story
Drizella is the last kitten left from her litter. She's special - most orange cats are males, and not only is she orange, but her two littermates, both girls, are also orange! Drizella came in as a stray with her sisters and their mom, "Godmother." At this point, she's bonded strongly with her mom and we'd prefer that they go to a home together! If you'd like to come out and meet Drizella, FFAA is open Wed-Fri 12-7, Sat-Sun 10-4, and we are closed Mondays & Tuesdays.Email adopt.ffaa@gmail.com with any questions or visit https://www.ffaaneosho.org/ and fill out our application online.

Story
Wu is one of 6 cats who joined us due to unexpectedly losing their loving furmommy. Starz, Fluffy, Samir, and Wu have been together for years, but Macho and Tangie are our two newcomers, community cats picked up off the street in one of the last acts of kindness their mom would gift to the vulnerable in her community. In the midst of caring for their sister in the ICU and grieving her inevitable and looming passing, these cats' fur mama's siblings made the time to come to our facility in hopes of finding placement for them. With a limited amount of time to do so, we were thankfully able to move some animals around and open up enough spots for these cats to stick together in this time of transition. Her siblings thanked us for helping them to honor her memory and even sent us some information about the cats' late mother. They wanted people to know that through her work writing articles for the newspaper as well as in her personal time, her priority was always awareness for those who are vulnerable and less fortunate. Their hope, and ours as well, is to adopt these cats out in pairs out of respect for their situation and the family they lost that loved them so much. Wu was described as a deliberate intellectual, independent and self-sustaining. He is especially close with the other older cats, but we've never seen him squabble with anyone. So far, he's not certain about coming out of his kennel, so we are still working on getting to know him. We do know that this whole group loves windows, fast-moving toys, and their family!

Their hope, and ours as well, is to adopt these cats out in pairs out of respect for their situation and the family they lost that loved them so much. Named for her bright orange "tangerine" coat, Tangie is definitely making us work for her affection! The perfect foil for her bestie Macho, Tangie is still extremely unsure about making new human friends. She was described as being passive and conflict avoidant when it comes to her friendships with other cats - she will never be at the scene of the crime when it comes to getting into tiffs. Tangie will be getting extra attention from staff and volunteers until she's made her peace with becoming a civilized kitty, but the fastest and easiest way for her to warm up is to go to her forever home ASAP instead of slowly getting used to being here and then having to pick up and transition and readjust yet again.

Eddy is a long-term foster and had gotten quite attached to his foster mom. He is not comfortable around strangers, so he will need some time to warm up to his new people. Eddy is an expert at head butts. Sometimes he throws in a little love bite so watch your nose! His markings make a wonderful swirl (eddy) pattern on his sides.

Story
Elsa was part of a feral colony TNR project. She was getting bullied by other cats in the colony, even suffering injuries from them, so returning her to the location would not have been in her best interest. She was young and friendly enough that we hope to find her a nice indoor home. She is a little shy at first, but warms up fast and is a total love bug.
