Josey, An Older Wiser Kitten… Josey has been with us a little longer than we keep most kittens. She has been “The Play Master for the other young summer kittens we were fostering so we decided we’d better keep her till all of her play mates found their fore ever homes. Josey has received constant nurturing since birth. She came to us as a bottle baby, so she is a “real people Kitty”. She is a sweet, loveable, adventuresome girl. She is extraordinarily loving and craves affection. She’s also quite a talker, especially in the kitchen. She is very playful and self-assured. Presently, she is living with several other kittens her age in our presidents SE Sedalia. She plays and rough houses with the kittens and works hard at annoying the older foster cats who find her amusing and sometimes annoying. Josey is in excellent health, has a very big appetite for dry and canned food, of course loves cat treats of all kinds. She is a wonderful little guy who needs the best forever home. Josey has been fully Vet’d. She has been spayed, has received all her shots, been wormed and has an implanted identity tag. She is fully litter box trained. She needs to be an indoor only girl. She has never been outdoors since she was found at 3 weeks old. She doesn’t know the perils of the wild. Josey would be a wonderful addition to your family. Alaska is a handsome guy. We are guessing he's 1-2 years old. He is sweet as can be, loves getting petted and will even offer his belly up for belly rubs. He isn't a huge fan of toys, he just enjoys being by his people, napping and watching the birds out the windows. He's lived outside most of his life thus far but has enjoyed the indoor life with his foster. He can live with other kitties that respect his boundaries, he just doesn't appreciate them up in his face. We are unsure how he is with dogs. Alaska was found to have pillow foot when he went to the vet to be neutered. Pillow foot is a skin condition affecting the paw pads of cats, causing them to be sore, inflamed and sometimes slough off. Luckily Alaska had a mild case and after a round of antibiotics his paws look much better. Pillow foot isn't a disease that can be cured but cats can usually live full lives with minor issues. It will be something to watch for long term with him. Mona Lisa is a 4 month old female kitten with a beautiful coat. She has the cutest little black nose. Like her sister, Haze she also loves head scratches, purring almost immediately. She is playful with her sister, Haze. She can be a little shy at first so she may need a little adjustment period but once she's comfortable she will be fine. She was fostered with other cats and young children, she didn't love the younger children but would do fine with older calmer kids. Pumpkin is a beautiful 6-month-old calico kitten. She is not super playful for being a young kitten but is extremely loving. She has grown very attached to her foster kitty sibling, Miley. They would absolutely love to be adopted together. Pumpkin really hasn't bonded with any of the other cats or dogs in her foster home, but she really loves Miley. She hasn't bonded with the others but after proper introduction we believe she would do fine with other cats and/or dogs in a home as she has been around both. Pumpkin's foster does believe she would thrive best in quieter home without young children around. He came from a hoarding situation and as a result his allergies will flare up every once in awhile so sometimes he has the sniffles. Easily treated with an OTC medicine. His perfect home is quiet with lots of lap time and petting from his human. He is cautious of new people and just needs a quiet home to relax in. He is also vocal and will meow back when talked to by our volunteers. Won't you come give this boy his furever home?
