Mabel has revealed a nurturing, motherly side to her personality. She would snuggle scared new kitties and help them become confident. Update 2: Mabel went to a foster home to see if she likes house - living (and maybe a little heart-stealing as well). Tink is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born fall 2020. Tink is a little tripod kitty. She arrived with a traumatic injury to her right front paw, possibly from a trap and the injury was infected. Because of the damage and infection, the vets amputated the leg and she has spent several months in a loving foster home. Tink is quiet and shy, and likes to hide in a turtle (upside down bed), but if we are very careful and put our arms around her, she will relax and even purr a tiny, tiny bit. She likes to be groomed around her ears and head (gentle fingers or cheeks against her, not a brush) and will push her head up a tiny amount. One of the younger cats in the room licked her head and ears and Tink quite liked that. We expect that Tink will come out of her shell as she gets used to the colony life, but she will always be a quiet, librarian-type of kitty, not a party girl.August 17, 2024, 4:03 pm

H She's still quite low-key and watchful, but accepts other cats as long as they are nice. She's easy to pet and has been quite kind to another cat who is scared in the room. They will lean on each other or stay on close shelves with Cinder out front being the brave one. She could be a really nice family kitty with or without gentle cat friends. Renee is an adult spayed female cat, age unknown, but probably at least 1 yr old She is part of a trio with Dinah and Kelly. They are not biological sisters but are living together in a foster home. They are so busy and into everything that their foster dad refers to them as Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather (like the Disney fairies). Renee is "Merryweather". Renee (Merryweather), the little sister, is an adventurous black cat who would love a home with lots of nooks and crannies to explore. There's a big exciting world out there, and she can't wait to be in it. She moved into the shelter and did great, but then she had some tummy issues and is back in foster care to remove any stress and so we can make sure she only get her special food - not everyone else's!August 17, 2024, 4:03 pm

We got Zoe from a farm as a kitten. There were eagles circling around her so they called her “Eagle Bait”. 🙁 She is absolutely the sweetest cat you will ever meet. She loves kids that are gentle with her. Loud yelling or hair pulling stresses her out. We need to rehome her to someplace where she can sit on a lap and purr. We have 2 Grandkids everyday and 1 of them is too much for her. We also recently got a young cat the terrorizes her. She deserves to have a peaceful life.

This pretty McTabby girl originally arrived in May 2021 with 8 newborn kittens and wanted nothing to do with us loud humans. Now she seeks out loves and is so eager to play with toys, especially the wand toy! All she is waiting for is a forever home! Nadya will need a home that is willing to allow her space and time to become comfortable at her own pace. She will likely hide at first, as she did at the beginning of her stay in her foster home, but after about a week she started making short appearances in the presence of her human staff. Now several weeks into her stay, Nadya is interacting with her foster mom via wand toy play time, snuggling her feet and rolling around on a favorite blanket! Next up is lap time! Rue is about 1 year and 2 months old. I have raised Millie her entire life because he mother got pregnant with three babies. She is a very sweet and cuddly just like her dad. She will sleep under blankets right next to me for hours. She does love food and treats but I have tried to cut back a little bit because she gained weight quickly after being spayed. Rue was spayed last October and is up to date on all of her shots.
