Story
This is the second of several cats taken from a residence where the sweet elderly home owner was placed in a nursing facility due to her ailing health. Her only request is that homes be found for her beloved cats. She is heartbroken that she can no longer be with her fur babies, but hopes there is a kind soul that would be willing to house and love her kitties. Samantha is a sweet girl approximately 4/5 years of age. She is a little distrustful, but warms up quickly. She has been spayed, vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (-), and flea treated.

Serena is the third of four cats that were taken in for a sweet elderly woman who was placed in a nursing home care facility due to her ailing health. Her only request was for us to find her beloved fur babies safe and loving homes. Serena is a bit on the shy side. Story
Baby is a female black tortie who is approximately 1 – 2 years old.  She was found outside by a TNR group and has been spayed so she has a small ear tip.  The group did not want to return Baby to her outside colony when they noticed she had an unstable gait.  When Baby was taken to the vet, it was determined that she has a neurological disorder called Cerebellar Hypoplasia.  For Baby, this means that she has a bit of a wobble when she walks or sways slightly side to side.  Even with her “disability,” Baby seems to be a very happy cat.  She loves toys and is quite playful.  She is also very affectionate and loves nothing better than to follow her foster mom around and receive pets.  Baby is litter box trained.  She is vaccinated, flea treated and de-wormed, and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV.  Baby may need a dental somewhere down the road as she has not had proper nourishment.  Baby would love nothing more than to have an inside home and someone to love her.   Baby likes other cats and would do well in a home as the only cat or with other gentle animals.    If you would like to know more about Baby or to request an adoption application, please email us at bandocats@gmail.comOctober 21, 2024, 10:41 am

Story
A friend is looking to find a happy, inside only home for a stray who showed up at her house this past year. Spike, aka Black and White kitty, has been a porch kitty for several months, but now wants an inside home where he can chill and be warm all the time.  Spike is neutered (and eartipped), FIV/FLV tested (negative) and had his shots (boosters in 3 weeks). The vet thought he was about 5-6 years old. He has a healthy coat, no ear mites.  Spike is very sweet and snuggly, but he really doesn’t get along with the family's other male cat. He would probably be best as an only cat or with a very laidback female cat.  He loves people and is a huge love bug who likes snuggles on the couch. He is a lap kitty and would like nothing better than to hang out with you all day. If you would like to find out more about Spike or receive an adoption application, please email us at bandocats@gmail.com  January 17, 2025, 12:21 pm

Story
Precious is a colorful female calico cat approximately 4 – 5 years old.  Precious was dumped at a trailer court frequented by a Trap-Neuter-Return group.  Precious ran up and rubbed against every one’s leg that she could as if asking for help.  Precious was placed in foster care where she will stay until adopted.  When Precious arrived at foster mom’s house, she had some urinary issues, most likely a UTI followed by a very loose stool.  Precious was treated for both and has reacted well to her medications and now has no symptoms.  Precious is, however, currently on a special gastro diet.  This may or may not be necessary for entire life but changing her food should be done with caution.   Precious is very playful and loves toys and her scratching post.  Precious is sometimes rough with her toys and often brings her foster mom toy “presents” after removing the stuffings.  As is typical with calico cats, Precious lets you know when she wants to be done being petted.  She gives a little speak and sometimes a swipe so she would do well with children who understand to watch for cat body language.  Precious is very affectionate and absolutely loves being petted.  She often stares at foster mom as though she is attempting to communicate.  She is a very interactive and fun cat. Previous likes other cats and does well with the foster mom’s kitties  Precious is clean and litter box trained.  She is vaccinated, flea treated and de-wormed and tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV.  Precious would love to have a lap to sit in and a place of her own.  Please consider adopting Precious. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Chance came to us with 8 other cats when the owner had passed away and the family could not care for them.  When we went to get the cats, we found that they were living in a horrible situation.  There was not enough food or water,  there were no litterboxes and the cats were infested with fleas.  Once they were removed and placed in a foster home, we discovered some were very ill and they all had horrible ear mites.  They are all very sweet cats and just needed a lot of care and attention.  Chance is a quiet boy and needs time to trust but then he is very friendly.  He is FIV/Leukemia negative, current on vaccines, flea and worm treated and microchip.  His approx. DOB is 5/18/2017.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 5:52 pm
