This terrific tabby girl is Befana! She's currently our longest staying feline resident and she is READY to go home! Befana has been hanging out with us for several months now and is still looking for her purr-fect match! Befana was dumped on our doorstep on Christmas morning with a litter of kittens in tow. She was an excellent mom to her babies who all have found their own families and has been patiently waiting for her turn. Befana has since taken up the maternal role for any of the new kittens that come in the shelter and comforts them as if they were her own. She does great with all the other kitties she has shared her space with and has been a source of comfort for all the new and scared residents. Because of this, we think she would be happiest in a home with other cats. As for dogs? She hasn't been terribly bothered by the sounds and smells of her canine neighbors.She is truly a diamond in the rough and we know that she's going to give so much love to her future family!**Spayed, FIV/FeLV negative, and up-to-date on vaccines**

Gypsy is a middle-aged cat that was surrendered to us several months ago, due to no fault of her own. She can be best described as "cool, calm, and collected." She doesn't mind the company of another cat and someone's lap to sit on- but she isn't a fan of loud or chaotic environments...so you can imagine how shelter life can be pretty stressful for her. She can be super affectionate once she's comfortable and in her groove, but it may take her some time to warm up to new faces and places. Gypsy is a smaller cat and is purrfect for someone with a relaxed lifestyle looking for a cozy couch companion. She's in fantastic health and has plenty of her 9 lives ahead of her. She is blind in one eye and may be able to see shadows out of the other. Being blind did not stop her from living on the streets, though! She is definitely a strong personality, but she is also the sweetest cat that deserves a loving lap to live out her life on.Ophelia is our current "office manager" and she's great at keeping everyone in line and on task...which according to her should be keeping the litter box clean and the food dish FULL! When she's not running the show, Ophelia loves to spend her time napping in soft beds or rolling around on the rugs.Don't let her eyesight deter you, Ophelia is pretty good with navigating her surroundings.
