Story
Soldier has been waiting over a year for a home. He is estimated to be 8 yrs old. He's charismatic, loving, and wants your attention & affection. He enjoys curling up on a soft blanket and sleeping. He loves being pet and LOVES getting treats (he's a foodie and has really packed on the pounds) and needs someone who will look beyond his rough exterior to love the personality within. He was found outside, seriously injured, with deep wounds on his face, neck, and legs. He'd been fighting for his life out there and is glad to live the pampered life indoors. Soldier is listed as 'special needs' because he is FIV positive. FIV isn't contagious to humans, but it is contagious to other cats through bites. FIV compromises the immune system. Soldier gets along with other cats for the most part (as long as they can observe his personal space bubble) but really enjoys being around his humans. He may do well in a home without other pets, or in a home with other adult cats that will leave him be.

Story
This is Silvie! She's only 10 weeks old and is looking for her Furever home! She and her sisters "Goldie" and "Rosie" are all looking for homes! Silvie is a playful and ornery little kitten but may settle down with you to nap at the end of a long day. She's slightly bigger than her two sisters so she's the confident little leader of the pack. Silvie and her sisters were rescued from an outdoor feral cat colony where I've been doing TNR (trap-neuter-release) for the past year. Their mom had had her first (and last) litter of kittens before going to get spayed, then returned to the colony. Luckily, these three little girls got to be nursed by mom and weren't taken from her until they were fully weaned, so they're very strong and healthy! Silvie will do best with another feline friend to play and cuddle with! Therefore, adopters should be willing to adopt at least two together or already have a cat.

Story
Looking for an affectionate kitty who wants to be around you and constantly seeks your attention and approval? Meet Teddy! He's estimated to be 7 years old and was found as a stray living outdoors. He's super friendly, loving, and vocal. When he's not following you around, he enjoys curling up on his kitty bed and napping. He can be enticed into playing with a cat wand toy and appreciates a good cardboard box. Teddy LOVES treats... any kind will do, he's not picky! Teddy is listed as 'special needs' because he has stomatitis (he's had all his teeth removed & only eats wet food & softened kibble) and is FIV positive. FIV compromises the immune system, so it's best for him to stay inside where he won't be exposed to parasites and disease. FIV isn't contagious to humans, but it is contagious to other cats through deep bites; however, he gets along great with other cats and is unlikely to bite. He really enjoys being around other cats and would do best in a home with another feline!

Story
Binx is a bit shy at first, but give him some time and be patient when earning his love, and you'll have it forever. Although he's skittish, he is super sweet once he warms up (this may take time in a new home). He enjoys being pet and likes being held. It's funny watching him purr and "swim" when curled up in my arms. He likes to find a comfortable place to take naps. I am really hoping he finds his forever home soon. He was found outside as a stray. He's since been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested for FIV/FeLV (negative). He's estimated to be 2 years old. He really enjoys the company of other friendly cats, and would do well with another feline in his future home to keep him company. Because Binx is a bit of a scaredy-cat, he would do best in a calm, quiet home where he can relax and feel comfortable. He knows he's been rescued and he enjoys the little things - a soft blanket, some treats, a scratching pad, and a couple toys. He'll be glad to have you.

Story
Charlie was found as a stray wandering outside. He was abandoned by his previous owners when they moved out of the neighborhood. Despite this sad past, he is the biggest sweetheart and loves being pet. He's very laid back and will follow you around just to find a comfy place to be in the room with you. He's got a very unique purr and likes to play with his mouse wand toy! He's listed as "special needs" because he has been through some rough times for being so young (he's estimated to be 2-3 years old). At some point, he must have sustained a serious injury to his belly because he had a hernia that healed over with a bunch of scar tissue. He contracted FIV while living outside as well. FIV compromises the immune system in cats, but isn't contagious to humans; however, it is contagious to other cats through bites. This was all before he came into my care. Since then, he's been neutered and vaccinated, and visited the vet numerous times to get him antibiotics and eye ointment.
