"Let me reintroduce myself, I am Valerie. I came to KLAWS in November 2021 with an estimated date of birth of June 19, 2017, making me 7 years young. My foster family is great however, I would REALLY love having my very own forever home. It would be the best thing in the world!! I have furry friends in my foster home, both cats and dogs. We all get along well. I like to be brushed and allow my nails to be trimmed, as what girl shouldn't get a mani/pedi and be pampered. I love to lounge in the cat trees and sleep with my human fosters. As long as you play with me, I will play with toys. When the treats come out, I am first in line. I love me some snacks 😋." Valerie will need to remain on her current Hills Prescription Diet C/D Multicare Stress, dry, as she has previously had sporadic bouts of hematuria due to stress. Since Valerie has left the shelter and entered our care she has not had any occurrences at all in her foster home. We have added in a variety of Fancy Feast wet foods to give her more options. She will require measured, timed feedings as she is currently the perfect weight and size. Valerie would enjoy the company of a similar personality friend with slow and proper introductions. Posey Female spayed Black Dsh DOB June 25/24 My name is Posey and I have been in foster for a few months now. I am a very shy girl, but I am your go to girl for any other kitties in the home… I love to snuggle up with my foster siblings. I really like to play and snuggle with Kimmy… who is also up for adoption. I am still afraid to be touched. I really like my toys and love the laser light the best. At night, you will find me curled up at the bottom of your bed. So, even though I am shy… I can be a great companion for another cat! I even like dogs. So don’t overlook me please! I would prefer a quiet home to relax and be my best self. Mr. Thumper! This little rascal has come along way, and he still has a little way to go. When he arrived at the rescue, he was very leery of Hooman’s. Someone put this lovely cat in a box with his siblings and abandoned them. So, if Thumper takes a little longer to trust he has a good reason. Thumper is waiting patiently for someone to come along who knows his past and will love him just the same. Thumper will come to you on his terms, mostly from gained trust and the bond you build with him and a couple tube treats! This kitty has so many redeeming qualities. ● He can run was like the wind! ● He loves to play together with all the other house cats, he is very sociable. ● He can jump extremely high – parkour. ● Thumper has a heart of gold; he has never had a bad thing to say about any of his foster brother & sisters. He just loves everyone, including the big Husky dog . ● He can eat a tube treat in 5.7 seconds! ● He will curl up in your bed at night and keep you toasty warm. Thumper loves the fosters dog Slate. He also loves to play with all his kitty friends. We have never had a problem with Thumper unless someone says “time to go to the vet” he is not fond of his carrier, but what cat is lol. Thumper favorite toy is a spring. He will run the halls with the spring in his mouth while doing acrobatic jumps & twists. Thumper also has a quiet side; he loves to sit in the bay window or at the sliding doors where he will sit for hours watching the squirrels or birds. He loves a great view of the wildlife outside. Mayla was the brave one of all the sisters when they first arrived. She is in foster with her sister Oreo. She is very affectionate, loves to play with a feather wand and with her sister Oreo. She is such a sweet girl who purrs loudly as soon as she sees you and will rub all around your legs until you pick her up and give her a good face rub and kisses. Mila loves to chase her to own tail, which is so cute. Kimmie Female spayed Tuxedo Dsh DOB July 16/24 I am Kimmie’s foster mom and this little shy girl is looking for an adult only home. Even though she is shy, she is very sweet. Kimmy loves all her foster siblings and loves my dogs. She likes to cuddle and sleep with the other cats. At night she is usually at the bottom of your bed. She likes to be petted.
