Paisley is a wonderful young girl looking for a loving and lasting forever home. She was adopted previously but then found as a stray. Her adoptive owner did not care for her or want her back when she was found. While out on her own, we believe that Paisley had a run in with another stray cat with feline AIDS (feline FIV). When Paisley came back into our care, she tested positive for FIV. Paisley is approximately 2 years old with a petite frame. In fact, her rescuer thought she might be a kitten but the vet estimated her age as 2 years old. Paisley is very sweet with a friendly demeanor and is very affectionate and talkative. She likes to “head bump” a lot and rub up against your legs. She enjoys being petted and purrs when she eats. She also kneads frequently when you love on her. Please don’t let Paisley’s FIV status deter you. Cats with FIV can live normal, health lives just like other cats. Paisley is currently doing great now that she is in a caring foster home. She should not be in a home with other non-FIV cats but can be with other cats with FIV. Paisley wants nothing more than to be loved and have a good home. Approx DOB: August 2016 Katie was rescued as a small kitten from being outdoors on her own. She has lots of energy and loves to play. She will happily play with wands toys or bouncing types of toys with her family but is also very good at entertaining herself. Location: Chambersburg, PA Approx DOB: September 2020 Lucy Fur was been with her foster mom since her birth. Her mom was caught for TNR (trap-spay/neuter-release) but gave birth to four kittens before she could be spayed. Lucy’s siblings have each found their forever homes and Lucy is hoping for the same. Lucy is a lovely girl. She loves to cuddle and watch TV with you. When you’re busy, she enjoys looking out windows. She loves her toys especially the laser light toys and play tunnels. Lucy also loves to take a nap with you. Lucy has been spayed and is current on vaccines. Lucy and her siblings also tested positive for Felv/feline leukemia. They’ve had great care and nutrition since birth and are very healthy. Lucy eats a high protein diet and enjoys dry and canned food. Lucy has only been around small children when visitors come. She does not run up to them but she will go near them after a while and even play with them. She has not been around dogs. There are two other cats in Lucy’s foster home but she hasn’t had direct contact with the. However, she wants very much to be with them. She shows no aggression when she sees them. Her foster thinks she would do well with other Felv cats, but she will also be a wonderful single cat too. He would do great  with a fun outgoing buddy to play with. Has been around dogs, but is shy of them. He is slightly shy at first, but once he gets to know you, he loves to be petted and snuggled with.  He is gentle but would be skittish around children or high/loud activity.  He loves to zoom to the highest cat tree tops and to watch the fish in the fish-tank.
