Story
NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS CAT PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION: https://forms.gle/QKj2eSwjYxVd3UJD7 REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT! --- Baked "Sweetie" Ziti is a young cat under 2 years old. She is such a sweetheart! She was formerly a stray cat that we have spent time socializing and loving, and now she really loves human attention. At first she can be a bit shy, but she's made a ton of progress trusting people! She has a perfect track record with her litterbox, and loves using scratching posts and climbing on her kitty trees. If you talk to Ziti, she comes out of hiding and slinks around rubbing her body on furniture. It's like she's saying "I really want to love you, but I need some more time to learn how!". After you earn her trust, she enjoys her backside being petted and scratched. When you become her friend she loves her head scratchies too! She could be pet and pet and pet and never get tired of it. Ziti has made amazing progress with socialization. She has great potential to be a loving family kitty, and needs a patient and special family who will continue to love on her and pick up where we left off. Will you give Baked Ziti the home she deserves and help her come out of her shell? Please fill out an application below to get started. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send us an email. NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS CAT PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION: https://forms.gle/QKj2eSwjYxVd3UJD7 REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT! --- WHAT A LOVING BABY!!! She's soooo affectionate! Gingersnap is an adorable young lady looking for a home who wants to take things slow and appreciate her for her beauty and no-nonsense personality! What has been dubbed as "tortitude" (being a sassy tortie) is actually just her learning love for the first time. Little miss Gingersnap was formerly feral, starving, and skinny with parasites as she originated from a property in the area with a high number of other feral cats. She recently made a breakthrough with being pet, and absolutely loves neck and bum scratchies from people patient enough to earn her trust. She has the most adorable meow and frequently does so for attention! Gingersnap has a 5 star rating with the litterbox and does great with other cats! She will need a family experienced with skittish kitties that wants to continue her socialization process. Even when scared, Ginger has NEVER swatted, scratched, or bitten. She is truly a peaceful girl that would so appreciate a loving family that wants to give her a chance. Earning her love and loyalty has been such a rewarding journey here at the sanctuary, and we know that it will be for you too! Can you provide the warm, safe home that sweet Gingersnap has always wanted? --- Please fill out an application below to get started. If you have any questions don't hesitate to send us an email. Story
“Hello! My name is KELLY! I’m one of the special-needs pets up for adoption at CompAnimals. I am living with FIV. I am only 6 years old and have a long and wonderful life ahead of me but I should be the only cat or with another FIV cat. Other than that, I am purr-fect! I was living with a nice family who loved me very much but their living situation changed so I came here. Please pass the word that I am looking for a home for the holidays. Thank you & meow!” Kelly is approx 6 years old and has been spayed & vaccinated. She was overwhelmed at first when arriving in our cat room where she resides in a separate cage. She has settled in now and is quite friendly but will need adequate time to decompress in her new home. Adoption $25. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org to make Kelly part of your family. August 18, 2024, 12:28 pm

Story
KITTLES is an approximately 8 yr old kitty who was brought to us for not getting along with other cats in the house. Indeed, Kittles does have catitude! He would do best as an only cat but could coexist with friendly dogs. Kittles is very social and greets our volunteers and guests but he does have a short attention span for hands-on attention and will swat you when he feels you have crossed the line. Kittles will be a great companion for someone who wants a friend to talk to but not snuggle up with. Kittles is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for leukemia/FIV. Adoption $75. Please fill out an application at www.CompAnimals.org if you have room in your heart and your home for Kittles &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143August 18, 2024, 12:28 pm

Story
DUNCAN is a young adult who was trapped during the coldest days of winter behind a Dunkin' Donuts, when a concerned citizen saw him fending for himself. Although he is shy, he's definitely had a home at some point because he is not feral. Duncan gets along well with the female kitties in our cat room. He takes a little while to warm up, but does allow affection from our volunteers. He loves our catio, and would enjoy a screened in porch where he could sun himself and listen to the crickets! Duncan has been neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/leukemia. Adoption $75. Please fill out our cat adoption application at www.companimals.org prior to making an appointment to come out and meet Duncan.August 18, 2024, 12:28 pm

Story
RUE is approximately one year old and came to us when her owner could no longer care for her. Rue was terrified when she arrived and would strike out through the bars of her quarantine cage. It took us a while to win her over. She is now very affectionate with the volunteers but her new family should expect a similar decompression time. Typical to Calicos, she has a short fuse, so would not be the best match for a family with young children. Older children who understand “catitude” should be fine. Rue does not mind the small dogs who also inhabit our cat room. She has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/leukemia and microchipped. Adoption $75. Please fill out an application at www.companimals.org if you’re interested in adding Rue to your family.August 18, 2024, 12:28 pm

Story
Kaliopi & Nona are from the same litter, preferably want them adopted together. Kaliopi (mostly called Kallie) is tortoiseshell, and Nona is black w/ a white belly. They are 1 year old as of July 2024. They were born on an Amish farm, all shots & vaccinations up to date. Perfect health. They will come with two litter boxes, pre-built/4 floor cat house, accessories & bowls, any remaining litter & food, leftover flea meds, one cat carrier, & of course rabies tags. Both very cuddly & energetic once they are used to you but will probably ignore your guests. We are moving & unfortunately can't take them with us. Must be fed separately due to Kallie's fast eating and stealing food that could lead to weight issues. Want them to go to a good loving home. Both are used to getting baths & getting their nail clips regularly even though they still don't like it :) however they are never aggressive b/c we started when they were kittens. You can ask me anything via text. 410-920-5099
