Story
Meet Madonna! This sweet girl was found in a rural part of SC with her three little two week old munchkins in tow! We had an awesome foster step up and were able to bust this little fam bam outta the shelter faster than they could blink! The shelter is no place for itty bitty babies so we were so thankful we got them into a home! Madonna is a GREAT momma to her babies. She loves to love her babies and anyone who will pet her! Madonna chirps for pets and has a big personality. She grumbles when she eats likes to sing songs. She plays with her toys and is just such a happy little girl. Madonna will be ready to head off into her forever in just 6 short weeks! Madonna will be fully vetted prior to heading home! If interested in adopting the sweetest momma cat around apply directly via our website at www.dustytailsanimalrescue.org

Story
Meet Kirby! This sweet little baby was found all by his lonesome before being brought into our rural shelter partner. Sadly this little nugget was SO scared there and would just hide and try to scurry away when approached. Thankfully we had some awesome fosters step up and we were able to get this baby into a nice and quiet foster home. Thankfully, Kirby is decompressing well and settling in and MUCH less scared. Kirby is around 4.5 weeks old and can head off into his furever when around 8 weeks (end of May) If interested in adopting apply today via our website at www.dustytailsanimalrescue.org

Meet our newest intakes, a group of three adorable 8 week old kittens who are all looking for their forever home! All three were found in a box by one of our vets on the side of the road. She very kindly took them in as she could not leave them there and we found a foster and the rest was history. All three are currently 8 weeks old, have gotten their first rounds of vaccines, are FIV/FELV negative and will be fixed with our vet shortly. Meet some of our adorable kitten babies! Our rural shelter partner was overun with kittens and had over 100 just on the campus alone! Needless to say they needed some help. We found some awesome fosters and pulled 5 litters! We have kittens with short fur, medium and long and just about every color you can think of! We also have some siamese mix kittens as well. The adoption fee for cats/kittens is $150 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, deworming, starting prevention and will be fixed with our vet when able! If interested in adopting a kitten apply directly via our website at www.dustytailsaniamlrescue.org All kittens are in foster homes so we will need an approved application on file to connect interested families with the fosters for meet and greets.

Story
Steak is a very quiet and loving cat. She is 1 and a half years old and I adopted her from the Charleston Animal Society. She has all shots and vaccinations and I can provide the records. She probably would prefer a home with no other pets or children but they told me she is socialized to both at the shelter. I am giving her away for free because she deserves a loving home. I cannot bring her with me as I am planning a big move over seas to be with my wife. She will come with a large litterbox, cat carrier, her favorite blanket, a food and water bowl, and whatever extra cat food I may have on hand at the time of adoption.

Story
Simba is a sweet, cuddly, 1 year and 5 months old orange tabby. His coat is beautiful and vibrant. He adores adults who give him attention, and will ask for cuddles and pets. He seems to be scared/anxious around children, which is why we would love to see him in a kid-free home. He deserves to be free of his anxiety. We believe he would be happy and content with an adult and/or a couple who are loving and gentle. He is very sweet-natured. He seems to be okay with other cats. He has been okay with our dog, but she is small and very very tame. I am not sure he would be happy around a big and/or hyperactive dog. He is truly a sweetheart and we think our home is just too chaotic and loud for him with all of the children.

Story
Ollie is about 10 years old and was found in the woods in North Carolina. We have had and loved him since he was a kitten. He was the first pet we adopted and we have since rescued 2 dogs. Although he’s lived with the dogs for several years, he has had a hard time adjusting - marking his territory and constantly on edge. This was not an issue before. I am pregnant and it has gotten worse - I don’t believe having a child in the house will improve the issues he’s having, unfortunately. I believe he would do very well in a home with no other pets or children. He is extremely cuddly and sweet and strongly food-motivated. He has been checked at the vet & is in good health for his age, however he does currently have a prescription diet and takes miralax for constipation. He also currently takes gabapentin for stress, which I don’t believe he would need in the appropriate environment. He is a wonderful cat who deserves a great home, but we cannot have our baby in an unhealthy situation.

Milo is officially ready for ADOPTION! After being dumped on Daniel Island months ago, we finally managed to get him a foster home and he is ready for his forever home!!! He is fully litterbox trained and LOVING life indoors. He loves to play with his toys, nap on the couch, and use his scratching posts. He is also a BIG fan of cuddling! He loves others cats and would love a playmate! He is fully up to date on vaccines and in perfect health, and the vet estimates he is only a year and a half old. If you are interested in providing Milo with a safe, loving, INDOOR forever home, please fill out an application online at rosierescue.org
