Story
In true Stephen King fashion, Pennywise emerged from a storm drain to wreak havoc, but quickly decided her life of luring strangers into the depths was over. She is now searching for a new lair to call home. As she usually doesn’t play well with others, she would do best as the only inter-dimensional entity haunting your home. Staying true to her Halloween passions, one of her preferred pastimes is TP'ing the bathroom. Food is her preferred love language, but love bites are acceptable too.  Pennywise is an indoor only cat. She is spayed, has received her FVRCP vaccines, and is up-to-date on rabies (valid until 10/20/27). She is particular with her friends, and may do well with 1 other cat or with dogs that mind their manners.  ##2221914##

Story
About Charlie: Charlie is your no-frills kind of cat. He doesn't need anything fancy to be happy - just a little time outside in the sunshine and coming home to some toy time and cuddles with his human(s). (He especially likes the ones with string!) He will need slow introductions with other cats. Most of our adoptable cats are indoor only - Charlie is one of our rare exceptions. When adopting an in/out cat, we suggest keeping them indoors-only for a time to adjust to their new home before allowing supervised outside time. This ensures the cat thinks of yourself and your home as their "safe space" to return to.  Adoption: Our adoption fee helps to cover the costs of: monthly flea prevention, deworming treatment, FVRCP and rabies vaccines, and spay/neuter surgery for each cat or kitten. When adopting a pair, the fee is reduced to $120 together. For kittens too young for spay/neuter surgery, we offer a Foster to Adopt program for interested adopters. Foster to Adopt:  To apply for our Foster to Adopt program, please submit a foster application for review/approval to take the kitten home with you. VTNR will arrange all required shots and sterilization surgery, along with any necessary medical care. Once the cat or kitten meets the required criteria, an adoption application can be finalized along with a reduced* adoption fee. *Reduced adoption fees are available for our Foster to Adopt program participants, and when adopting multiple cats. ##2285816##

Story
About Left Eye: Left Eye was rescued with her seven kittens shortly after Halloween. She has been a wonderful mother, but is now retired from her previous position as a caretaker and is seeking new employment. Her preferred positions include: professional seat warmer, certified cuddle companion, or resident supervisor. She is independent and likes to explore, but appreciates gentle affection at her discretion. Left Eye has experience with other cats, dogs, and also small children. While her usual demeanor is chill and laid-back, she does require a slow introduction with new dogs and the opportunity to approach at her own pace.  Special Needs: Left Eye came to us with a previous injury and only has one functioning eye. At this time, vets do not recommend surgery, but she may need additional care in the future.
