Come meet these sweet little athletes from the 2024 Olympics!Meet Gymnastics, a 2-month-old female Domestic Shorthair.Gymnastics and her siblings came to the shelter as strays. These kittens are super sweet and very playful! Be prepared to have some athletes in your home, because these kittens have energy and are ready for all the love and attention you can give. Gymnastics and her siblings have been great at using the litterbox and keeping their kennels clean. Please remember that Gymnastics is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with. They are all currently at a foster home and will ready for adoption soon!If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
