If you’re looking for a laid-back cat who will gradually become your best friend, Phillip is ready to find his forever home.If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been received. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal`s picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is lifesaving. Adopt Don`t Shop.

Story
Meet Kiwi, a three year old Domestic Shorthair cat weighing around nine pounds. Kiwi is a fun, spunky girl who is very vocal about her likes and dislikes. Kiwi really enjoys human affection and can be found at the front her of kennel meowing for attention. It was pretty funny during the photoshoot because she would smell the previous cats that had been around and make a sound of displeasure before being happy again and running up for scratches. If there are other cats in the home we recommend a slow introduction. Kiwi is very silly and will be a very fun cat for someone. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.Interested in adopting this or another YHS pet? Please complete our adoption questionnaire found at: https://yakimahumane.org/adopt/apply/Our adoption fee includes a lovable companion, spay/neuter, vaccinations and intestinal worming, flea/tick treatment, rabies vaccine (for pets over 3-4 months of age) and a microchip with nationwide registration.
