Story
Say hi to Basil! We are "basil-ly" in love with this sweet kitten. He is everything you would expect of a kitten. He is fun, playful, a wonderful little ball of energy. He is especially cute when he curls up for nap time! He would make a great addition to any family. He is very young still and can therefore be acclimated to almost any new situation. His favorite toys are his little fuzzy mice! He loves dinner time and playing with his other siblings! He is litter box trained and knows how to use a scratch pad! He is a confident little man that would do well in a home with other animals for him to play and bond with. If you are interested in this cutie or have any questions regarding our process just submit an inquiry or an application and we will be with you as soon as possible. Thank you for looking to rescue!

Story
Looking for the newest addition to your family? Say hello to Graham! Graham was found with no mother or siblings. We took him in, bottle fed him, and got him the medical care he needed. Once he was healthy enough, we put him in with some of the other kittens at the rescue. He has since grown into his personality. He is a funky, spunky boy. He can be a little naughty and get into trouble (in true "orange cat" fashion!) but we still have fallen in love with him all the same. He can be a little mouthy, but he is learning quickly that he won't get his way with his teeth! Also, he is a true botanist and helps prune the plants around the house with his teeth and even take a nap in them! (We would probably recommend a house with fake plants for this little guy). We know you will fall in love with him as we have, if you are interested and/or want to learn more just submit an inquiry or an application! Thank you for looking to rescue!

Biography of Blackie the Cat Blackie is a sleek, black-furred feline with bright, expressive eyes that seem to hold the wisdom of a thousand moonlit nights. A born explorer, Blackie has an insatiable curiosity for the world around him, often found investigating every nook and cranny of his domain. Despite his adventurous spirit, he has a gentle and affectionate nature, always returning to share his warmth and purrs with his favorite humans. Blackie’s story began in humble circumstances, but his personality was anything but ordinary. From a young age, he showcased a knack for finding the coziest spots to nap, the highest shelves to perch on, and the quickest routes to his food bowl. His favorite pastimes include basking in sunny windowsills, chasing shadows, and the occasional game of hide-and-seek with anyone willing to play. **Meet the Power Puff Girls!** These amazing girls have been with Oakbrook for many months, and despite their loveliness, they're still searching for their forever family. Their adoption fees are discounted due to their length of stay, so now is the perfect time to bring one (or all!) of them into your home. Ideally, they would be adopted together, but Blossom (Anise) can find a new family on her own if she has another companion to keep her company. **Blossom (Anise)** - The friendliest of the trio, Blossom has a heart of gold! She loves food and can be quite vocal when she's excited. This sweet mama adores a good window perch where she can soak up the sun and keep an eye on the world. You'll often see her carrying toys in her mouth, ready to play and share the fun. **Buttercup (Liquorice)** - Independent yet sassy, Buttercup has a playful spirit! She absolutely loves dogs and will delight in a game of chase or hide-and-seek with you. With her fun and feisty personality, she'll keep you entertained and engaged. **Bubbles (Peppercorn)** - This quirky girl has a fascination with water! Be prepared for a splash zone, as Bubbles likes to make a little mess while she drinks. With her charming crossed eyes and possible depth perception issues, she won't let anything slow her down. Her playful antics and curiosity make her a joy to be around! These girls thrive in a calm indoor environment where they have access to windows and room to climb and explore. They enjoy the simple pleasure of water puddled up in the bathtub, and they get along well with friendly, calm dogs. While they haven't been introduced to other cats, their personalities shine brightly, and they are ready to bring joy to your home. Their foster family even considered adopting them, but unfortunately, one of the resident dogs isn't accepting them. They are open to answering questions or doing meet-and-greets to see if these lovely girls would be a good fit for you. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome the Power Puff Girls into your heart and home!

Story
Hello FB community, I’ve adopted this ridiculously adorable female cat that I’ve fallen in love with, but she needs a new home. My cat, Dave, really doesn’t like her. She’s super friendly and even gets along with dogs. She offers hours of entertainment, will make you giggle and your heart heart melt. Has been both an inside and outside girl. I’ll get her vet records, I’m not sure yet of her vaccination status and such. Thanks!
