Story
Cat showed up at a neighbors farm. I took her in, in November to get health exam at Vet until I found a home for her. She is very very lovey- dovey affectionate cat with people. She doesn't mind dogs at all. She doesn't like other cats, well at least my 2 male cats. She LOVES to play! I have all her shots up to date. I am just been trying to find her a home. She is not a garage or barn cat!

Story
Meet Atticus! Atticus came to CCHS when found as a stray in Spencer. He is a neutered male and is 1 1/2 years old. He weighs 9.9#. He is very handsome with a short-haired sleek coat that is all black. He has big bright golden eyes that make him look like he's always surprised. Atticus was quite shy when he first arrived at the Shelter, and mostly hid in his little cat bed. He's made great strides and now is much more comfortable seeing people and other cats, too. He's a great cat who could be a great addition to your family! Apply for Atticus today!Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $40. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All cats and kittens have been vaccinated for Distemper, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will also be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for FeLV/FIV. Cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered before adoption.CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home.

Story
Meet Prima! Prima came to CCHS with her friend Donna. They had been found as strays back in December in the Marshfield area. Unfortunately the other cat in the home didn't want more kitties around, so they came to CCHS to find new families. Donna has already been adopted, so now it's Prima's turn! Prima is 5 1/2 years old and is a pretty girl with her short-haired Calico cat. She's a bit of a chunky girl at 13.0#, which means there is definitely more of her to love! Prima is a sweet, unassuming kitty. She is a gentle girl who likes to be petted but isn't fond of being picked up. She'll do best as a couch potato in her new home! Prima does have a heart murmur, grade 4 out of 6. While it's not causing her any trouble, it's something to be aware of as she grows older. Apply for Prima today!Approved applicants will be notified via email. Please check junk/spam folders for a response. The adoption fee is $40. Not good with kids, House-trained,
Story
My name is Jenny, I was born in July 2024. I am house and litter trained, but have been having some issues with spraying. My owners have two little girls, which don’t really give me a break. That has caused me to hide and spray and use the bathroom in places not intended. I think I would be better off in a home with older kids or a couple. I am very sweet to my owners, I just don’t like being held and chased around all the time.
