Story
Rogue is a 1-2 yr old, male Dutch Shepherd. Rogue has an extremely high drive and will require an experienced, consistent, working/sport home so that he is able to get the mental/physical stimulation he will need to succeed. Rogue is high energy, has incredible ball/toy drive as well as food drive. We have trained Rogue in explosives/firearms detection through world renowned Adlerhorst Intl and he is currently certified with one of our handlers. Rogue will continue to maintenance train in detection. He is a dual purpose dog and excels in bite work, training scenarios and developing more skills regularly. Additionally, K9 Rogue also trains in obedience twice a week.Rogue is a true Dutch personality with a lot of drive. He only searches for affection from his handler, but is really starting to love attention, but can be pretty neutral with people at first and while working.Does good with female and neutered, non aggressive dogs as long as they aren't constantly harassing him. Rogue is available through our Zero to Hero program to an approved, very experienced working home only.  He has too much drive to just do detection or to be a nonworking family dog. Training will continue until in a permanent home is found. Inquire for price as it will continue to change due to his extensive training. ##2072179##

Story
My name is Jessie. I was adopted as a puppy. The lady who adopted me was normal then. I was one of the first 13. She then started collecting dogs with physical issues. I only have 3 legs. I don't know I only have 3 legs but I do. Anyway, she became a hoarder. Another group of rescue ladies finally got animal control to go to the house. They found dead dogs and dogs living in horrible conditions. We were all taken. The rescuers found all the rescues that had adopted these dogs and returned them. I was there for another 90 days. I was one of her original 13 so she was able to appeal me. The judge denied her appeal and back to this rescue I came. You can look up the case if you google chandler 55 dog abuse case. My foster mom adores me. She knows I deserve a home with less dogs. I live to go in the car. I would love to just drive all day. I also love non salted In N Out patties. I love all my dog friends. I like to go out and run with them. If they get too annoying I just give them a quick growl. I am all about kissing my foster mom. My foster mom cannot believe I have not been adopted yet. She says I am the perfect traveling dog.

Story
Reddy is a very handsome boy with a brindle coat. Born @Oct 2019. He is a 45 pound Dutch Shepherd mix who is playful and energetic. He loves to run, walk on a leash, play with toys, and go in kiddie pools. He takes treats gently although he is possessive over is breakfast in his bowl but other than that he is not food aggressive. He came from a home where he and a very senior dog were not a good fit and the family chose to keep their old guy.  However, Reddy was 1 year old then, and with training he will smoothly transition to pretty much any situation.    *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Story
7 years old. @75 lbs. Cleopatra sits on command, can be a little shy to start, but after a few minutes [or seconds], she's in close for some love and petting.  She loves to run and play with toys, and she gets along with some dogs. Does very well in the car. She will come in close for love, or walk or run beside you.  Her potential is enormous, and she's very intelligent and picks up on your needs very quickly. She takes treats very gently. Walks very well on the leash. Our dog trainer took Cleopatra to the dog park and on a hike and she loved it, she was so happy to smell everything and once it was time to go she wanted to go in the car and obediently came out of car upon arrival home.  GOOD GIRL! Hannah is a rescue. She was found wandering in a busy intersection. She is a very loving dog, enjoys to cuddle and to play fetch/soccer with her ball. She is still young so still needs some training but we have been consistent with her and she has learned to be obedient in our care.

Story
I reside with my mother since I am a disabled Veteran. She is elderly and frail and I am unable to spend the necessary time with him that he deserves. Plus he is too large for our small home and deserves more room. He is a sweet and good boy. A little scared when he first meets someone but is quick to warm up. He is very much still a puppy and loves to play so he can be a little rambunctious at times. He has some professional training (about a month) but I was unable to maintain his regimen but he is very trainable and will be neutered within the next week or so; it being March 3, 2025 on date of posting. We are looking to rehome him with a responsible and loving family that will give him the life he deserves.
